I always quote him from the movie "It's Only Money" when he's giving this nonsense explanation on the history of TV and says, "Nay....hence...and GET OUTTA THERE!" It's an amazing line that he used in different forms throughout his career. Dude could make almost any phrase funny with that voice and his hilariously incorrect inflections.

Lewis by all accounts was not a nice man. His sons all criticised him. One said when my Dad came home my Mom got on the intercom and said he was home and we scattered. He left them nothing in his will nor did they expect anything. Apparently the yougest son was treated badly because he wasn't born a girl. He was a bully in the business. Actress Stella Steven's said he didn't have much to do with her after she made a movie with Dean. She had been the leading actress in his premier movie the "Nutty Professor."

Yeah, apparently he was an asshole off camera!! Could be incredibly funny on camera, though!!
