I think the difficulty in using both element and form is trying to do them in the same step like the Rasengan. Elemental Jutsu have handsigns meaning the process is somewhat sequential you make Fire, then Ball. Frankly what I would really like is for a smarter protagonist who can ask interesting questions and expositional characters who don’t feel like they are covering basics with a dimwit
skilled ninja being able to perform techniques using fewer (or no) hand seals is mentioned explicitly in chapter 120, during the fight between the 3 hokage. kakashi also mentioned that his chidori deliberately uses a simpler form than rasengan so he can focus on the nature transformation. naruto is the one that complains doing rasengan (the hardest form transformation) with nature transformation is like looking in 2 directions at once. which explains why children can do nature transformation. the forms are incredibly simple. fireball, earth wall, etc. throughout part 1 of naruto, most techniques are described in terms of shaping chakra.
wait you said you dont like nit picking but thats basically your whole channel im missing something? (no hate just wondering)also do you hate naruto i didnt watch all your vids so mb if you said so and i didnt see have a good day hope you see this
The Uchiha Clan's specialty is Fire Style, but Sasuke's affinity is Lightning. That's why it was so difficult for him to learn Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu, and why he adopted Chidori as his signature jutsu and developed other unique Lightning Style attacks. He pretty much ditches fire for blaze release.
i was looking through your previous videos and was elated to see you had made a genshin video related to this topic.. but it turned out to be completely unrelated haha. any plans for a video related to genshin's magic system?
I've considered. If I had the channel back when I played the game, I would definitely have made a few videos. If there is something specific about it you wanted a video on I can take that into consideration. I like the elementalnreaction system for the most part, as it genuinely sounds like something I would have made.
I'll get to bleach eventually. I'm still working on editing the current lagann video. After that I'll have to see. I'm also considering reading dragon ball, because I never finished it as a kid. But I might as well skip to z. I also have a couple of webtoons I might cover.
@@MagicSystemMonday yeah there's a lot of misunderstandings with bleach and its system , nen is really good but a bit overhype, haki should be done when the series end in my opinion when we get full context , DBZ just not worth it since it turned into a numbers game lol
What's the point of this whole thing ? It's fiction i mean is it really that bad if it has some unlogical things somewhere ? I mean people still love the show right, isn't good that way ? No hate but these kind of videos are always like "omg the author made an error here look
It's about accepting where things went wrong, explaining why it creates a problem, and providing everyone involved the opportunity to be better. This is a writing channel. Talking about how some writing is flawed is not unheard of. And even notwithstanding that, what if I just wanted to make a video about something that annoyed me? Like, okay? So what? I haven't hurt anybody and my choice requires no higher order justification anyway - unless one wished to argue that it was inherently detrimental. And it probably isn't detrimental, as I have already cited the values it brings to those who are interested.
People like you that hyper-analyze every little thing in stories always make me question how you can ever consume content enjoyably. You'll always find a handful of 'problems' in a story if you're nitpicking this hard. As for the inconsistent usage of hand signs, if you use common sense you'll be able to reach the answer fairly easily. It's quite obvious Kishimoto didn't want to have to draw people weaving hand signs after every single jutsu anymore. It's tedious and takes more time, something that weekly serialization mangakas already struggle with. I'm sure Studio Pierrot felt the same way about it when they were animating it. It has little to do with the actual in-world foundations itself.
They way you're talking makes it sound like naruto isn't clearly a crappily written story by modern standards. You call it hyper analyzing to make it seem unreasonable that I have standards, when nothing I've judged here is something that doesn't reasonably impact the overall story and how problems are solved within. These are valid targets of criticism, and naruto is uniquely flawed in these aspects. As for your interpretation of hand signs, your own argument doesn't even account for the information in the video you have just watched. Moreover, if the writer didn't want to spend a bunch of time drawing hand signs... Don't make a system that requires them! Its not like we made him do it. And even ignoring that, there are ways and showing people doing signs without drawing every single one. He shows this sometimes in part one, and if he miraculously forgot how to do that then it's worthy of criticism.
@@MagicSystemMonday Any long-running weekly serialization you nitpick will have plenty of problems within their story. It isn't the best written but to say it's 'crappy' is undermining it completely. Hand signs do not impact the story in any way. You're nitpicking for the sake of it lol. There is quite literally no difference other than seeing them being weaved in a panel.
Incorrect. Handsigns are either a an important part of the system or a waste of space in the system. If the feature in question doesn't matter, that means the writer made a mistake. Simple as that. Besides, if something SHOULD have been important and wasn't, then that is equally worthy of criticism and I don't feel bad for it. And don't say it wasn't supposed to be, because the people in university clearly disagree with you. Lastly, despite the feeble argument that long serialized series have flaws, you have an inherent logical fallacy to deal with. You are literally saying "flaws exist, therefore you can't criticise them!" Which is just not reasonable. And argument that the difference nis that the flaws are common isn't valid either. It just makes it worse. That's like saying "yeah this house is infested with ants, but don't you dare get rid of a single one! Because there's more, therefore they're not worth working to get rid of!" That's like a teacher seeing a student who got a fifty on the test and not being willing consider what mistakes were made just because it math and people get math wrong the all the time. Like, so?? This isn't an argument. Its an appeal to chaos. That's terrible and serves no purpose other than finger wagging people who are trying to make something. Which is ironic because that's what you see to think I'm doing.

I just reread chapter 120, no such statement about hand seals was ever made. You are wrong.
You make an interesting point but the chapter you reference was more about technique than hand signs themselves.

I still think Sasuke's affinity is Lightning. But I wonder how Kakashi discovered that.

Didn't Kakashi hand him a piece of paper that supposed to figure it out for you by how it reacted to your chakra
