- The ANC has finally served former President Jacob Zuma with a notice to appear before its disciplinary hearing for contravening the party’s rules. Zuma is technically still a member of the ANC even though he was suspended from the party in January, after he announced his support for the MK party back in December. The EFF’s Dali Mpofu speaks on whether the ANC is a possible coalition partner after the elections? SAFTU, COSATU and AMCU speak on the role of trade unions.

They don't know that, by doing so they actually exalted President Zuma and the MKP, President Ramaphosa is lying again when saying that committee works independently, they don't take any instructions from anyone. Now who is behind this shenanigans, and if that's the case, why the President of SAFRICA, doesn't rectify the wrongs that the committee is about to do, if he truly knows nothing at all.

Unions must cut ties with political parties for them to work properly and stand for working and challenge these labor laws, which are also contributing factor in the unemployment issue. The unions are the strong hold of the masses. That's why they are becoming a target of political parties.

@ronnymotsepa-I fully agree with you Ronny, I don't think it is going to be a disciplinary measure as per se, how can you discipline someone who has already opened his own political party, they tried all other available options and they failed dismissal and I am sure that they have been advised that IEC will not win appeal in constitutional court and worse that CJ Zondo will recuse himself on this sitting, so it's kinda of last chance for a ANC to really listen to his grievances and map a way forward. But discipline is just a front.

I think and ofcourse I don"t wish, don"t misunderstand me, President Ramaphosa can maybe resign and see how people will react if he is no more a President of ANC or a leader of ANC. Here seems like lot of people are not pleased with his leading in the country. Maybe this stress will stop. THIS restlessness will maybe stop. In other countries if one votes for a party chooses also the person (candidate) he/ she would love to be a leader. There will be a list of the people (candidates) you can choose who you like the taste will be yours The Majority who have the same taste for that person then he/ she will win the vote can be elected as a President of the country, not the Party chooses, him/ her privately behind the closed doors , but the Majority of the citizens of SouthAfrica that will appear in the Ballot Box if it is the honest voting. I have been saying that for a few years that they should abolish tenders because they ripping off the municipalities. And should employ people it will cheaper and no corruption. I will give example. Tender for fixing up potholes . The tender send in amount how much they need to buy tar and labour. When municipality approved. They get the tar fill a few potholes with tar stamp it with a iron pole. Then the rest of tar which is over and its a lot at times which the municipality pay They take that tar and do some private work for someones factory needs repair or a drive way and gets paid for it. So the tender gets paid twice. 1) by the municipality 2) by the persons place or factory doing it privately
