The Vampire Diaries were the only vampires close to the original vampire, Vladimir the Impaler (real person) upon which Bram Stoker based all vampires. The only other that came close was the True Blood series.

Stephenie Meyer actually said Robert understands Edward the most, because Robert was basically the only actor who doesn’t see Edward as this Godly creature. And if you read Midnight Sun, you can see Edward himself doesn’t see himself as a great person like Bella seems to see. Edward is Stephenie’s beloved character and that is why, Stephenie trusted Rob with Midnight Sun 10 years ago because Rob actually gets Edward.

It makes me so said to hear that Robert hates Edward and it makes me even more sad that they were gonna have different peiple for Bells,Edward,Jacob and all the other characters. I thought that Robert loves Twilight cause of how happy he looks in the movies and behind the scenes.

It saddens me how Rob lacks appreciation for something that so many people know and praise him for.
I feel the same way as Robert. Edward was kind of a jerk in the books. But when I watched the movies, Robert made Edward such a good and caring guy. If I have a boyfriend, I would want him to be as kind, caring and lovable as Edward.

You really live in a dream world. Rob would be 36 by the time Midnight Sun was filmed and there's no way he's playing a 17 year old again. Not to mention he has an A list career with Tenet and Batman and will never do junk like this again.

Here is my thing if Bella is a shield then how could Jasper use his power on her when others couldn't?
Bella was only a shield when it came to physical powers. I.e., edwards mind reading, Aro's mid reading touch. So when it came to jasper and alice's powers, they are on the pshycological spectrum, so her shield only works on physical powers not phycological.
@@cyndelschofield4686 If that is the case then why was she immune to Zafrina's power of psychokinesis, which is a psychological power to project. And Premonitions isn't a power that works on other people, it's more like a movie trailer for the person that has the power. So I wouldn't expect Bella to be shielded by Alice's power, because it doesn't work that way.
@@chocolatequeen1 I would imagine that when Edward was seeing something it was because the power was being directed specifically at him. Noone else saw it but Edward.
If you read the books it says her shield shields her mind. Other powers that affect her physically like jasper had an affect on her because there were physical.
All characters deserve it. They all look good in their own character. For me nothing changed because since the first movie, I loved them all and I think that they all did well on their given and chosen roles, 😊❤️ #MidNightSun I hope it will become a movie. With the same cast. Even they're old already 😊😍

Yes it did. Being an artist myself, I never read it. I dealt like I was reading her diary. It's because of it being leaked and everyone fucking reading it, we had to wait 10+ years to ACTUALLY get the book 🙄🙄
Pretty sure it was just the first few chapters. She didn't finish the book after it was leaked because she was super pissed about that happening, that's why it took another 10 years for it to come out properly.

She wasn't. What you see in this video is a rehearsal, she was acting the way the role was written. In real behind the scenes footage, when MacKenzie was about to fall off of a stunt wolf contraption, instead of rushing toward her to keep her from falling, Kristen took a step backwards, to protect herself. Peter Facinelli, who was watching from a few feet away is the one who went rushing over to catch MacKenzie before she fell off. Kristen just stood back, watching. She did nothing to help the child.
The cast was also told not to swear around the kid but it didn't stop Kristen, who's every other word was "fvck." She had to contribute about $800 to the swear jar, rather than modify her bad behavior. That's who Kristen is, not a nice person.
Tom Sturridge read the Twilight script, thought it was trash and refused to audition. He would have bad mouthed it just as much. Summit had always wanted Pattinson, but he read the script and thought it was junk as well. He only agreed to audition 6 months later when he was flat broke and owed the UK $25,000 in taxes from his HP4 role. Rob always told the truth about how bad the source material was and fans appreciated that.
Anna wasn't the only one miserable on that set, and it wasn't just about the cold. There were lots of rumors at the time that Kristen Stewart was a real diva and made everyone miserable, she was always tempermental and hard to get along with. You'll notice that none of the cast have anything to do with her, 8 years after the franchise has ended, except for Taylor Lautner. Many of the cast are still on good terms with Pattinson, and he's been photographed at some of Ashley Green's parties. They live near each other in the Hollywood Hills. He's also still friends with Anna K.
Rob was comfortable with the underwater scene because he likes doing his own stunts. He did them in The Lighthouse and Tenet. He has no fear of heights or underwater. He's also a real professional who does what's asked of him.
It's really a shame Hardwick didn't cast Jennifer Lawrence. Taylor Lautner should have been replaced. He didn't resemble the character in the book at all, and he took steriods in order to bulk up. He was under 21 at the time and shouldn't have been using drugs to get a job.
Kristen was the one who filled the swear jar with cash. The whole cast said she was the one who wouldn't stop swearing even though children were on the set.

Actually I can totally understand why Robert didn't like Edward. I do like the movies and loved to watch them, but to be honest: it's not the best vampire movies. It is quite unrealistic. Besides the fact that vampire aren't very realistic. Edwards character is politely said, not really thought through. He has sometimes a really strange personality. 😅
I don't necessarily agree with your statement. Robert Pattinson may choose to not like Edward if he pleases but I believe that Edward is really fascinating.
The first reason I find him fascinating is of course his ability to read minds, and the way he responds to people with that gift. Edward is literally always receiving the unedited version of everyone's opinions, feelings, and thoughts in their heads and therefore it requires him to be completely focused as to not answer those thoughts, feelings, and opinions. On top of that he has to show complete self-control because of people's less than pure thoughts. I mean, how many people would go off, if they heard even one negative thing about themselves or someone they care about.
With that in mind, I would like to point out that because there is literally no filter, Edward gets all these biased thoughts and is forced to see things in certain ways that he might not have seen before. Also, he's like a hundred years old with loads of experience with life, and he has seen first hand how the world evolved and with all of these different versions of life, I think he deserves a free pass if he seems a little strange. Furthermore, I think he's an exceptional character, that deals with a lot. Maybe I won't be able to change anyone's mind, but at least think about what I listed above before bashing Stephanie Meyer's creation, because she did quite literally birth an entire love story with very intricate characters.
Also, I would just like to thank Stephanie Meyer and everyone who made all of this happen because creation is amazing but it's a hard process.

@@tiffanydixon304 wow. We may disagree, but I can totally see where you're coming from. It may be that all he has to go through tolerates his strange behaviour. In the books I do have to say that he seemed more of a character than he did in the movies. Which doesn't mean I don't appreciated the books or movies. I loved everything about them. Just that I now with 20 and not 15 see Edward and everyone at Twilight a bit different and more problematic than I did 5 years ago.

I am 19 and I actually feel I have more insight now then I ever had in my younger years. I have read the entire series a couple of times and I reread Twilight basically two or more times a year, and I just recently bought Midnight Sun. I will say that being able to read Edward's POV is something of a miracle to me because I have been yearning to read his side of the story, and it is engrossing.
I've never read something anything like it and I love it! I know a lot of people don't enjoy rereading the same book, but each time I read the same book again, something new stands out. And for me, reading a story is like learning someone's thoughts, and therefore I can exist somewhere else and it makes me aware of my own life and how I want to live moving forward.
As for Twilight, I will say that like there are quirks for every character and I think that is another reason I am so fascinated. And maybe quicks is the wrong word, and problems is the right word, but I just understand that it's only real on the pages of a book, or behind a lit up screen. In my real life, I don't know what behavior I would find appalling, or how I would even deal with it. I guess I just get frustrated because I appreciate the hard work, the time, and the thought processes it took and I can't imagine anyone being anything but impressed. And of course, life would be boring if everyone used the same storyline with the same problems, so I like when authors get funky with the weird bits.

Also, I do think that more character is seen in the book because we have more context. You should read Midnight Sun though. I do believe that it is worth it.
@@tiffanydixon304 He didn't complain that Edward wasn't fascinating, he said that Edward wasn't the perfect man and he wasn't some kind of hero. He was more like a serial killer psychopath, and he was right.
He also pointed out that someone as sophisticated as Edward would not be repeating high school over and over. That was a very dumb plot point. Edward had been to college and had a medical degree. Why would he sit in a high school class all day? Beyond stupid.
As for Stephanie, she didn't create anything new. She recycled a Byronic hero in a high school setting and gave him a Mary Sue girlfriend who constantly needed rescuing because she put herself in stupid situations, didn't learn from her mistakes, and never had to sacrifice anything to get everything she ever wanted.
It's a ridiculous fantasy, total escapism, not great literature. Also, Stephanie used to write fanfiction. It's just fanfiction that got published.
