Wolf has been in a rage about Verstappen ever since 2016. People just don’t realize that Nico retiring right after that season was a gut punch for Wolf. He wanted Verstappen. He is literally the one that got away. The prettiest girl in the room and he didn’t get a chance to give her a kiss. He’s doing everything in his power to make sure he gets that kiss.
I wonder if Toto's desperation to land Max Verstappen is a reflection of his desperation to hang onto his own job?

He has the money to get the goods. And frankly, I think Max is probably going to be leaving in 2026 if the new drive train by Red Bull isn’t up to snuff. I’m betting it won’t be. Red Bull is an energy drink manufacturer not an engine manufacturer. This is a brand new thing, and I truly believe Max allows his father to be his mouth piece. When the car is doing what he wants, that’s what all of a sudden you hear Jos come out and start making noises. I don’t think for a second that Max did not give his blessing to that..
My allegiance it to Max not Red Bull, he has my sword. Red Bull has turned a lot of us off with Horny Horners antics. At least be more discreet. As far as George how can anyone claim Crashstappen was a thing and not say George makes way too many mistakes under pressure. Max has grown.

So here is the problem with this Toto nonsense. One the assumption that suddenly 2026 Mercedes will be the dominant car or engine. This is speaks to an arrogance and entitlement that comes with being a merc fan. have you not learnt anything from the past three years? 2) Your speculation doesn't take into account the entry of Kimi. IF we are to follow your logic, you are planning on dropping either George or Kimi....and if you are going into new regs with two new drivers that is a recipe for failure. George is the senior who provides continuity for the team and they banked on him. 3) Cameron you are selective in your hearing, there has been press conference where Max has said that he plans to be a one team man. And he has made it clear he intends to see out his contract. Let's not forget Toto talks too much, he is a rich spoilt boy who wants all the shinny toys for himself, but trouble is there are other rich boys too and people who value continuity and loyalty to their teams.

I've seen every interview with max, I've been reading between the lines, and listening to Max on what he wants for the future.
Max will NOT go to Mercedes. He has not forgotten how he has been treated by them earlier. Max is an elephant when it comes to memory, and he will definitely hold a grudge, even if he won't show it. He'd rather go simracing than that we'd see him at Mercedes.
EVEN if merc has THE most competitive package, he will rather stick with the bulls and help develop, than that he would go to merc. Especially so long Wolf is there.
I think Dutch stubborness within Max is being highly underestimated with him. His inate talent to do what HE wants is important here, and he'd rather go make babies with Kelly Piquet, and be a dad to P, than that he would go to merc.
Max will always be a little vague about contracts and who will do what and when. It is his media training that taught him that. NEVER say never. And hold your cards close to the chest. Of course there IS a 1% chance red bull will fold under the media pressure, but I doubt it. That factory is working SO hard on the 25 car WITH max, that I believe they will be fastest again in 25/26. (can't know that of course but I can dream too haha)
At this point, I won't be wrong when I say that Max Emillian Verstappen is the most desired driver in Formula 1 history.
Cameron.. do you think Max is looking at the performance of Perez to gauge the RB20s real pace and thinks maybe Mercedes have a better car now. Rather than Maxs talent dragging the RB20 into positions it wouldn't be in with another driver ?

😅No disrespect Cameron, but this is total bullsh*t. Max will not leave a winning team to join a struggling team that he already leads by almost 6 races in this year's championship. 2026 regulation changes are irrelevant because all teams will have been planning for them since 2022. Before the new regulations are introduced, Max will be 5 times champion. As much as it may upset you and Peter Windsor, Max will keep winning until he decides not to bother with F1 anymore and migrates to sports car racing. My guess would be 2028. The last thing Max wants is to be struggling to win in F1 when he's nearly 40 years old, as a certain other driver seems to.

Cameron a good power unit cannot be the reason to leave Red Bull right? I mean Mclaren has the same engine right ? Aerodynamics and just the build of the car are as important as any other in this race of best car...

people complain about HAM avoiding the sim, but why would he, because he would just be giving guys like george more data points.
Well, Max is in the simulator all the time and giving everybody tons of data points hasn’t seemed to hurt him. I think the part of the reason why Lewis hasn’t been able to get more out of the car. It’s because he hasn’t been doing enough in the Sim.
