As the others are also saying there is no copyright with any of the music in Arknights with the exception of special collab songs, like the ones on the oldest arknights trailers with the music from the band STARSET.
PVs that include STARSET music are copyrighted, because Yostar licenses that music. STARSET's music is only present in a few trailers, such as the concept PVs, and you can tell it's them pretty quickly. Contingency Contract songs are commisioned by Hypergryph and thus will not result in copyright violations.

Most of these characters you see in the trailers, particularly the 5 and 6 star operators, are the main characters in their event. In terms of the main story, some characters show up sporadically, with Amiya, Kal'tsit and the Dokutah usually being the main characters while a few others are recurring side characters. In some of the side stories, you do get some lore for characters who may have been introduced before but didn't feature in any event.

Forget if I said this before but really the R6S collab set a gold standard for collabs in my head. Emotional story, realistic interactions between Arknights characters and the ops, used these outsiders to the world to expand the world building of Arknights... all while having some of the most difficult content added in (that event boss was a nightmare at the time)
Yeah, I had never heard of R6S before the collab, but the event was so good it’s still my second favorite to this day. Just wish we were able to get a rerun or even a new sort of stage that used the boss.
Don't worry about getting spoiled. The spoilers on the teasers are similar to the spoilers on most anime intros. You only understand it after the relevant scene happens =)

Small point on the contigency contract previews and song : CC are a ~3 months recuring event that you could compare to the Spiral Abyss from Genshin. It's a special map which you can tacle to obtain various rewards with a "Risk" system (debuff for you and/or buff for the ennemies) to get better rewards. It has its own lobby and battle song and each season is themed arround specific type of ennemies from a event or story chapter (CC#9 Deepness for example feature ennemies from the Under Tides event : the Sea Monsters). The songs also are copyright safe.
CC is a seasonal event happens twice a year with maps that come with debuff for us player and buff for the enemy called "risks". After clearing the map with 18 risks you are rewarded with the medal to show off how big your brain are XD Btw max risks achieved is around 32-33 depend on the season
Yeah 2 of my vids including this one which would've been up yesterday got copyrighted but it was only from Starset so I guess thats the artist I have to look out for

I've been enjoying watching all of your reactions to the Arknights Trailers! About the character's relevance to the story that you asked about, most of these trailers are for side stories, and often the characters in the trailers are relevant to that side story, but not necessarily the main story. I also noticed that you haven't been watching any of the animated trailers? Most of the trailers you watched here have a short animated event trailer that pair with it as well, typically only about 30 seconds each, but show more of the personality and tone of each event. Anyways, Arknights has a lot of music, and it's almost all really good. Almost every 6 star has their own theme music, though it is not played in game. There are more than a hundred operators by now if I'm not wrong , most of them only appeared once and then never show up again , only to be mentioned in the background from time to time. Everyone one of them are the MC on their specific arcs (events = new story arcs) and everything always ties back to Rhodes Island. Once their arc is over we rarely get to see them again. Except for a specific few characters that will be joining part of the main cast. Basically all playable characters are Rhodes Island's Employee. And most of the time in Events related story arc , us Doctors won't be in it as it was set in different time period , sometimes it could be before the main story , other times its after the main story or even an un-specified future story. And also ... most of the time when they show splash art of operators at the end , like when the chill ass music hits , they're showcasing skins.
All songs in Arknights trailers that contain in game elements are copyright free due to being in game ost but there are a few stand alone trailers that use original music that are under copyrights because they are not in game OST. All CC songs with vocals are surprisingly in game lobby music meaning they are copyright free. Infact if it DOES NOT contain any in game gameplay and instead looks like an animation or trailer and there is a high chance the music will be copyright due to not being in game ost.

The last video got copyrighted because the 2 concept trailers you watched used starset music. While yes they made it for Arknights, Starset is hella big and their music labels copyright their use. Most of the Arknights music you hear are made in house (Arknights own dev and studio) though so you should be good for most of it. Might want to check if they drop an artist's name but yeah you should be good for everything else outside the artists collab musics Also don't worry about being spoiled. It's literally impossible without context because the story is so full of substance and interconnected with each other Another thing to note is that most 6* has their own operator themes and yes they're not copyrighted so you're free to react to those as you wish. I see some number of videos about how Tachanka solo damager kills bosses! And Ash is close to meta now... Not in meta because she's from collab and no way to get her now, but... she's really good when you need to stun enemies and deal them tons of damage in a short period of time.

Might be worthwhile to try out the game, since its not a traditional tower defense, I usually call it as a RTS tower defense. You seem to quite enjoy quite a number of things related to the game, so might as well give the game a shot and might be pleasantly surprised.
So I rewatched the two trailers you skipped. Other than being some of the best trailers the game has ever done, they are for the release of chapter 7 and 8. If you watched them now, it would probably be fine. Once you get more into the series and start remembering names and things the spoilers will become more significant. It will be a LONG time before the anime gets to that point, the current season is only going to chapter 3 I believe. And they are... very good. So I would say watch them NOW, or don't watch them at all (because who knows when the anime will get there).
The anime is covering chapters 0-3 of the main story, and the next season will cover chapters 4-8. This does also mean if you find season one hot and punchy, season two will be the beatdown from the firey abyss. In a good way!
To answer some of your questions at 13:33 about Roaring Flare and Birth of Tragedy PV. Those are chapter 8 and 7 PVs, which include a "small summary" of the events of the previous chapters (hence why I DM-ed you after the part 3 to warn you about potentiel spoilers). Some shit happen that you don't really want to know if you plan on someday playing the game / enjoying the full story that Arknights has to offer. For the anime, it will be 8 episodes as you may already know, and will only cover up to chapter 3. We don't know yet if there will be more seasons (I hope so), that's why there are a few things you should avoid IMO. _[EDIT] : You can listen to the PV's song tho if you want to at least enjoy that part. Roaring Flare theme is named "Towerfierce" and is definitively a banger of a song!_ Lastly, about all the characters you see, they don't all play a major role in the main story, but are usually the protagonist of their own event' story. Suzuran and Folinics are the protagonist of "twilight of wolumonde" event, we don't see them in the main story. W from Darknights Memoir on the contrary, also appear and play a role in the main story. It varies, but usually the events focus on side characters and/or expand the lore of the Arknights universe, the various factions, countries, stories that happen accross all Terra. And some of them are real emotionnal rollercoasters For copyright content about last video, it was probably because of the Starset songs (from Concept trailer 1, 2 and 3). All the others music are commissioned by Hypergryph (trailer musics, Contigency Contract musics, etc) so you shouldn't get any copyright on them (personally, I never did). You probably got copyrighted last video specifically on the Starset songs, they are a real full band. 99% of the music is in made in house and is free to use. There is one more trailer with Starset music, and it was the one you watched... It sounds like you cut and scuffed the audio for it in post? So hopefully it will be okay. Anime will Cover up to Chapter 0-3 at most. It is very hard to squeeze in Chapter 4 in my opinion since it will be very rush. If there is season 2, most likely will be Chapter 4-6 and hopefully with more episodes so it won't be a rush. There isn't any spoiler as for this season just in future season if it is green light. Also about Copyright thing, there is only 1 trailer will be Copyright base on most other reaction video I watched by chanced and it is the one in Part 3. Lastly, you miss half of the trailer, every Trailer there will be one Promotional (Like Operator, skin release etc) and one Animated Video (Short animation).

contingency contract are events that happens every few months, the general idea is that you can make the game harder in your own way, the harder you make the game the more rewards you get, thats the most basic way to explain what it is
You don't need to keep pausing. The music for CC lobby themes are not copywritten. The only ones that might be copywritten are the stand-alone operator songs that are released separately from the game.

Dude you should watch/react to the Talulah vs Amiya video the devs posted for 2nd CN anniversary. Its pretty hype and best of all its NOT A SPOILER just a what if version. The devs do be flexing making an animation that insane yet its not even relevant to the story.

To my knowledge there are no events in the game that are just played for laughs. All events, even the more jovial ones, take themselves seriously enough that their story is worth reading. That is also where the vast majority of characters get their limelight, so a lot of the characters you are being introduced to will probably not show up much in the anime unless they decide to animate side material. That being said there are a lot of gaps in the early parts of the game that they could theoretically fill in and flesh out some characters.

Gladiaa, Skadi and Specter are basically members of Terra's own version of Bloodborne Hunters. Their outfits are more than enough of a giveaway.

Small point on the contigency contract previews and song : CC are a ~3 months recuring event that you could compare to the Spiral Abyss from Genshin. It's a special map which you can tacle to obtain various rewards with a "Risk" system (debuff for you and/or buff for the ennemies) to get better rewards. It has its own lobby and battle song and each season is themed arround specific type of ennemies from a event or story chapter (CC#9 Deepness for example feature ennemies from the Under Tides event : the Sea Monsters). The songs also are copyright safe.

CC is a seasonal event happens twice a year with maps that come with debuff for us player and buff for the enemy called "risks". After clearing the map with 18 risks you are rewarded with the medal to show off how big your brain are XD Btw max risks achieved is around 32-33 depend on the season

About the character's relevance to the story that you asked about, most of these trailers are for side stories, and often the characters in the trailers are relevant to that side story, but not necessarily the main story. I also noticed that you haven't been watching any of the animated trailers? Most of the trailers you watched here have a short animated event trailer that pair with it as well, typically only about 30 seconds each, but show more of the personality and tone of each event. Anyways, Arknights has a lot of music, and it's almost all really good. Almost every 6 star has their own theme music, though it is not played in game. Try not to miss the Arknights EPs, especially Code of Brawl. Even if you have to watch it alone to avoid copyright. The official channel has a playlist but of course, it's ordered latest to earliest.

She is the little sister of Nearl who you will see later in the anime. Nearl is also the one who fights with Platinum 15:45 in the video 3 (which got the copyright strike). Nearl has 2 versions of her. The version in anime is just normal Nearl work at rhodes island and the version in video 3 is when she come back to her hometown (holds a Lance and sometimes has wings)

There are more than a hundred operators by now if I'm not wrong , most of them only appeared once and then never show up again , only to be mentioned in the background from time to time. Everyone one of them are the MC on their specific arcs (events = new story arcs) and everything always ties back to Rhodes Island. Once their arc is over we rarely get to see them again. Except for a specific few characters that will be joining part of the main cast. Basically all playable characters are Rhodes Island's Employee. And most of the time in Events related story arc , us Doctors won't be in it as it was set in different time period , sometimes it could be before the main story , other times its after the main story or even an un-specified future story.
And also ... most of the time when they show splash art of operators at the end , like when the chill ass music hits , they're showcasing skins.

The last video got copyrighted because the 2 concept trailers you watched used starset music. While yes they made it for Arknights, Starset is hella big and their music labels copyright their use. Most of the Arknights music you hear are made in house (Arknights own dev and studio) though so you should be good for most of it. Might want to check if they drop an artist's name but yeah you should be good for everything else outside the artists collab musics

The copyright might be from the official concept trailers which background songs are made from Starset and not the Arknights team itself.
So I rewatched the two trailers you skipped. Other than being some of the best trailers the game has ever done, they are for the release of chapter 7 and 8.
If you watched them now, it would probably be fine. Once you get more into the series and start remembering names and things the spoilers will become more significant. It will be a LONG time before the anime gets to that point, the current season is only going to chapter 3 I believe. And they are... very good.
So I would say watch them NOW, or don't watch them at all (because who knows when the anime will get there).
The anime is covering chapters 0-3 of the main story, and the next season will cover chapters 4-8. This does also mean if you find season one hot and punchy, season two will be the beatdown from the firey abyss. In a good way!

To answer some of your questions at 13:33 about Roaring Flare and Birth of Tragedy PV. Those are chapter 8 and 7 PVs, which include a "small summary" of the events of the previous chapters (hence why I DM-ed you after the part 3 to warn you about potentiel spoilers). Some shit happen that you don't really want to know if you plan on someday playing the game / enjoying the full story that Arknights has to offer.
For the anime, it will be 8 episodes as you may already know, and will only cover up to chapter 3. We don't know yet if there will be more seasons (I hope so), that's why there are a few things you should avoid IMO.
_[EDIT] : You can listen to the PV's song tho if you want to at least enjoy that part. Roaring Flare theme is named "Towerfierce" and is definitively a banger of a song!_
Lastly, about all the characters you see, they don't all play a major role in the main story, but are usually the protagonist of their own event' story.
Suzuran and Folinics are the protagonist of "twilight of wolumonde" event, we don't see them in the main story.
W from Darknights Memoir on the contrary, also appear and play a role in the main story.
It varies, but usually the events focus on side characters and/or expand the lore of the Arknights universe, the various factions, countries, stories that happen accross all Terra. And some of them are real emotionnal rollercoasters
For copyright content about last video, it was probably because of the Starset songs (from Concept trailer 1, 2 and 3). All the others music are commissioned by Hypergryph (trailer musics, Contigency Contract musics, etc) so you shouldn't get any copyright on them (personally, I never did).

Anime will Cover up to Chapter 0-3 at most. It is very hard to squeeze in Chapter 4 in my opinion since it will be very rush.
If there is season 2, most likely will be Chapter 4-6 and hopefully with more episodes so it won't be a rush.

The Chapter trailers don't really spoil much at all and you're not gonna be seeing that content in the anime until season 3 at minimum
To my knowledge there are no events in the game that are just played for laughs. All events, even the more jovial ones, take themselves seriously enough that their story is worth reading.
That is also where the vast majority of characters get their limelight, so a lot of the characters you are being introduced to will probably not show up much in the anime unless they decide to animate side material.
That being said there are a lot of gaps in the early parts of the game that they could theoretically fill in and flesh out some characters.
