At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Here we have people selectively forgetting that Hürrem made an attempt on Mustafa's life. Twice before this (Efsun and then later Gulizar)
@@princess7jasmineand the one who’s started this blood game is still mahidevran tho she sent poison to sultan table to get rid off mehmed while hurrem pregnant. Even they tried to kill her many times, killing her horse, set the harem to attack and framing her face. Are you forgetting that?
@@imyourntnk. Sure, but let's not pretend Hürrem was somehow completely innocent and never tried to harm the children of her rival. Hürrem made an attempt on Mustafa's life and failed, Mahidevran fired back against Mehmed and succeeded.
It's the very fact that Mahidevran will never be able to understand how this serves as a self-fulfilling prophecy since, in the very act of trying to protect her son, she provided the exact "justification" for his downfall. Because, no matter what Mustafa might promise, his mother's just proven that he can't keep his brothers safe from her.
Mahidevran has selective amnesia.......she forgets all that she has done and keeps on blaming hurrem ......a miserable lady .....no wonder sultan ran away from her

Yea because he didn't like mehmed either, mehmed was better than him and Mustafa knows that. Even if mahidevran admitted it, Mustafa wouldnt do anything to her

@@princess7jasmine someone who thinks he's always right and loyal and fair, yes we expect him to do something to mahidevran. Thankfully Hürrem sultan will do the same to mahidevran. Mehmed literally saved him is that how he thanks him? How she thanks him?

They say he died from plague but it’s very fishy cuz after a year in manisa he got the disease. Definitely someone’s doing.

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n definitely. Because mehmed was suddenly the frontrunner for the throne and actually could compete with mustafas popularity but suddenly got smallpox out of nowhere. Even his concubine who was pregnant didn't catch it. Mahidevran / mustafas supporters definitely did something.

@@ivanapervan3783 Pokušavala je ubit Mustafu mnogo outa prije nego što je Mahi ubila Mehmeda. A na početku serije lad je došla u Harem je zaželila smrt i zlo i Mustafi, Mahidevran i Mahidevraninoj nerođenoj bebi čak iako joj nisu ništa nažao uradili. Ako ti nije jasno pogledaj seriju pd početka pa ćeš vidjeti a da ne zabpravimo kolko je nevinih ljudi ubila
