With the placebo effect it could work. Once when I was hospitalized an other patient who was an older woman came up to me and asked if she could do healing on me. I said yes and she gently put her hands on my head, just rested them until I could feel her warmth, then in my shoulders. We were both quiet and I started to get goosebumps. I then tried this on other patients and late on friends as well and I seemed to calm them down as well. Though I don’t believe that it’s some kind of black magic.
