    I love this guy old school and no nonsense. Looks at a player but looks for the right things. Size is always good but heart also comes into play. Sounds like someone I know from Fort Erie.

    Where was that compete level last year? Do they lose that once they hit Buffalo?

      Not on the players. A failed system, the players knew it, but kept playing cuz the coach as a nice guy coach. Now Lindy is here, with unfinished Business on the line. Sabres now have that direction and much needed leadership. Wooooo!

    One writer wrote that Helenius was a menace on the forecheck and relishes the opportunity to check an opponent. Q: Why haven't we drafted players like this WAY before; which this team desperately lacks ?

    so you give up a good player who had an off year, for what? i had full faith in gmka, but yall just RUINED ME. throwing my favorite player out of buffalo. maybe he wanted to stay but yall didnt want that.
