Revelation 22:7 Behold I come quickly. Blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this Book. We hold on to the promises of His Word that He will come quickly to create a new heaven and a new earth. Come quickly Jesus as You said more than 2,000 years ago..take note of the word "quickly". Many prophets tried to predict Jesus' coming before but all of their predictions were wrong. The whole mankind will have to be patience and wait until the second coming occur..it will surely come.
