Nice job putting it together, it really shows much of L.A Takedown ended up in Heat. I saw LAT when it was originally broadcast and left the theater after watching Heat wondering how no one realized it was a remake. Right at the armored car robbery I thought...I've seen this before.
I've been intermittently obsessed with HEAT since......the night I saw it in the theatre. I can recite the movie just about word for word. Just finished HEAT 2, the novel which to my relief is pretty great. This is a rare treat what you put together here. Well done.

L.A takedown is far superior to heat using much more accomplished actors its a shame Mann chose to use unknown second rate talent for heat and extend the movie by over an hour only Mann knows why he chose to use the unknown Al and Robert he really let him self down with this choice ..... send know one ever 😂😂

I had a huge crush on Scott Plank from the film The In Crowd. It’s sad he died so young. He had a lot of charisma. He was such a great dancer!

L.A. Takedown would have been a great spiritual sequel to Miami Vice as a series. We are lucky that Mann decided to revisit it in theatrical format.
