I wonder how many listeners are aware of something that one of her students pointed out to me - that Prabha Atre believed that MaruBihag should be sung with only the teevra Madhyam, whereas most singers use both Madhyams. And yet, as can be seen in this rendering, although there is not the slightest trace of shuddha Madhyam, there is no mistaking the identity of the raag.!!
