And Trump goes along with being mocked by Dave because he erroneously believes that he's in on the joke and/or he simply can't resist free media exposure. Nothing about that has changed over the decades, except maybe that Dave's ridiculing Trump became less subtle -- probably because Dave wanted to see how far he could go with it...
