I play this medley among many others of his. Had the pleasure and honor of studying with him and learning from him through two weekend workshops at Fur Peace Ranch years ago... owned and operated by Jorma Kaukonen (co-founder and lead guitarist of Jefferson Airplane) and his wife Vanessa. No music makes my guitar sound more beautiful than Ed’s music. Ed, if you’re out there and see this... all the best, and I still have the little martian man you sent me so long ago! 😊
Agree, I appreciate him so much, his songs and arrangements are beautiful, he is too good, plays so easy goes high and low with dynamic filled with emotions.
I told Ed once i appreciated that he played fewer notes than many others, letting them breathe. He said he played a lot of notes, but slowly. Same thing? ❤
His playing is really expressive, some would say his approach is minimalistic but I am not sure about that..For me there is nothing easy there.. guitar vise technique, dynamic, very demanding for player who wish to have same guitar experience.
industrial smoke stacks and green cornfields farm land the promise of wealth and prosperity then a bit further to the miles of highways and the urban sprawl guns violence when sitting angling a fine line a brook stream catch a glimpse a tail long gone my fold away village moccasin foot and drum dream memories a myth told to scare baby's in the far future camp fire looking to now
So beautiful- I can hear the emotion ❤

So sweet! Miss hearing Ed in concert these past years. The best most mellow guitar sound!
Ed is a much under-appreciated soloist
