Thailand Countryside Hike Rural Dan Chang Suphanburi

In this video we will continue to explore rural Thailand. Village life in Thailand is similar to what we see in the west. There are lots of fields filled with crops (generally palm trees), annoying barking dogs and people coming and going into the central town to work and get supplies. One of the things I enjoy about these places more than I do the towns in Canada is they are maintaining that rustic, laid back feel. There isn't a bunch of people moving into town who work in a city 2 hours away and commute every day. There isn't massive restrictions and bylaws stopping local vendors from selling produce or snacks on the roadside. It is more like how I remember rural Ontario before it was ruined by people from cities that turned our once quiet and laid back towns into these annoying suburbs of wherever they work. It's funny, if you are tired of the modernization and progressiveness of your nation you can almost always find a place that is still at a time you were happier with all the modern amenities you are used to. Clearly there is electricity and fast stable internet or this video wouldn't be posted. Quality of life indeed gets sacrificed in the name of progression as I have noticed living all over the world. I am really happy to show my son his country this way and glad he will have these memories on UA-cam to look back on when he's older. He is on my shoulders every step of the way and has now exceeded distance of travel in kilometers over his brother who rode my back around Istanbul. If you don't enjoy this video of simple rural life, don't worry there is a lot more to come. Mountain temples, night markets, crazy stories and anything else you can think of.
