Ive watched their WGM series a lot of times and there were moments whrn LJY said that "she bringa the best in me" "human can change" "the bad person in me came out, i didnt know why I did that" and so on. They were hints of his struggle to remain a better person for SY bec I believe he did care for her sincerely. My opinion were based on the whole series and the Eng subtitle provided. I hope whenever they are now, both are healthy and doing their best to be the better version of themselves. Theres always that one person who will love a person even those who made huge mistakes in the past, unconditionally. Mothers are one. And so are those we call great love.

I was exposed to judo and feel in love with it years ago from this video. I have been doing judo for 4 years now (brown belt) and won national tournaments... I can see his judo is very rusty. Prehaps they give out black belts sooner in other countries?
