Courtney, I’m bawling watching your RAOK. As always, the DIYs are awesome, but this one each year is just about so much more than that. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this each year ❤ Also thank you for the real audio after me crying so I could laugh after that. Merry Christmas, friend!
I lost my Mom a few years ago .. So... this RAOK really touched me to the point of losing my breath tears. Christmas has such an empty voided space without her and I feel it all year long. But then was laughing not long after because Courtney is so funny!
So sorry for your loss. I knew I had to put those crazy challenge items after my RAOK because I certainly didn’t want anyone being sad after they watched my video!
Courtney, your RAK really touched my heart. The elderly are not able to do these things any longer and are too often simply forgotten. Well done with the diys. Your cone tree is positively stunning and is something that I would definitely like to recreate -- with finger protectors! ❤
Thank you, Courtney, for sharing your mom's legacy with all of us. What a wonderful way to spread some joy! And your random act was so touching, literally lighting up your neighbor's Christmas. 😍
I loved ny mother so much. She was my whole world. She and my sister died before they were 55. Two angels. Your act of kindness for your Mom is wonderful. ❤🇨🇦❤️
I’m so happy that you have such a support system after losing your mom. I lost my mama a little over 3 years ago and this year I lost my little sister to breast cancer in August. I really miss them both. Again, such a blessing that you have this community for support. If you ever need an ear, I’m here❤ PS. The wine bottle cover could be a gnome with the oil funnel as the hat.
Out of everything in this video, I loved the chenille stems tree. It was beautiful. Thank you for reminding us about random acts of kindness. In our busy lives it is easy to forget about those who might need a kind word or deed, but who would never ask for help. The holiday season can be hard and lonely for many. Thank you for your wonderful video. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I visited my sister’s church over Thanksgiving and they were going to have a store where parents who couldn’t afford Christmas for their kids could come buy brand new presents at pennies on the dollar.Their need was gift cards for teenagers, so I went and got some gifts cards for places teenagers could buy what they wanted/needed and donated them. It always makes you feel better to give than to receive. Thank you to you and your mom for encouraging others.
✨️🌟Thank you Courtney for this last 2023 MBC. My favorite part of the video is the clip on your RAK in memory of your Mom🙏🏼 The video of your Mom and her beautiful words really touched me to the core. Your neighbor received a priceless gift from you that she will never forget. It honestly is the little things that mean alot. My fav holiday DIY was the mason jar. I would have glued the bag to either a cylinder vase and added greenery or a slim wiine cooler to add to a holiday tablescape. Bless you and Happy Holidays Courtney! Your Mom would be proud ❤️👍🏽🎄✨️🤍
Ok that totally made me cry. How amazing, thoughtful and full of love. Touched my heart so much thank you for sharing I am sure your kindness to your neighbor will be forever thankful and brought her so much joy. Your amazing.
Courtney, wow!! You rocked this mystery box!! I can't choose a favorite!! I love the snowman, gingerbread truck, and both trees!! Great job!! When I saw and the funnel, I immediately thought of an elf hat, but the hose, I had no idea what to do with that, and I still don't!!
The shadow box is soo cute. I like the Santa jar, but I love Santa anything. Thank you for being nice to Santa 🤣🤣 I love what you did with him❤️ I collect snowmen and Santas, your ideas are amazing. Come on that truck is adorable. I assume you’re using high heat.🤣🤣 I love the pipe cleaner tree! The soaker hose cute.
I think that is so nice the tradition you carry on each year from your mom.your mom had a good heart.and she passed it on to you.this video made me cry, keep up the work of kindness Even the littlest things you do can make someone smile..❤❤
Wow that was a tear jerker moment with your mom’s video. This is my 52nd with out my mom I lost her the day after my first child was born and I would give anything to have a video of her but it makes me so happy that you do!! You are a dear dear person!!!!
The funnel Christmas tree was my favorite. You reminded me of me because I’m notorious for burning my fingers even with tips. Great job! Love the acts of kindness! I wish that should be a mandatory for our whole nation to do. It might help heal our country a little bit! Merry Christmas Courtney. ❤️
I loved the shadow box you made!! I liked the tree candy dish, snowman bucket (you could put cookies in that or individually wrapped snacks), the ginger truck is so adorable and clever!, as were the two Christmas trees! 🎄 🥰 I cried twice watching your sharing about your mom. My mom got sick at the end of 2021. She passed in spring of 2022. She donated to many organizations in the mail. I made her a solar lighted North Pole with a burlap bow and red berries, her last Christmas for the front of her house. We didn't know it would be her last. 😪
One of my friends at church and I did the Vacation Bible School this past summer and we had a craft that called for making tambourines and hot gluing bells on them, like 18 bells each. Oh my gosh we laughed so hard afterwards! Imagine making 150 tambourines each with 18 hot glued bells on all in a 2.5 hour evening lol! We needed those silly silicone finger tips 🤣
I envy the mystery box challenges! Creative minds at work on the fly is the best. Way to go to all of you crafty ladies. Lol, my nieces and nephews don’t call me Aunt, they refer to me as Crafty! 😂
it would be fun to see you all have the same items. with everyone unique personality i can see totally different outcomes with the same items. also thank you for putting this together.
Omg.......your act of kindness has me in tears ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ok I had to edit this bc I wrote it before I saw your mom's video, and now all I can say is the heavens was graced with a BEAUTIFUL ANGEL 😇 and you did your mom proud ❤
Your video was so touching of your mom and all she done and passed it to you and you also did such a good job on all of them really enjoy this mystery box challenge
For the wine bag you could use the Santa outfit as a cover for a mini tree base (I forget the actual name of the bottom base for the trees ) and then use the Santa hat for the top of the tree. Great projects thanks for sharing!
Courtney all of the projects were so cute. I loved the shadow box and believe it or not the soaker hose tree. However, you RAK and the video of your mom got me. I lost my mom in 2012 and that video all I could see was my mom. So I'm bawling. Thanks so much for an amazing year of mystery boxes and I'm going to make that tree for my van. I live in my van and it's small so it will definitely fit. God bless❤
Your mom's message was beautiful, thank you for sharing it with the world.❤ I really would like to make the pipe cleaner tree for my daughter's dollhouse...but boy I am scared for my fingers.😂
My 1st idea with the wine santa suit was to put it on the funnel and make like a Santa gnome and then I saw the hose and I thought maybe put the hose on the funnel and make a tree that way
Courtney, as always you were brilliant at pulling these off. Super cute 💕I really love the pipe cleaner tree. it was showing in one of the pictures, before you actually made it, and I was going to ask you where you got it from 🤣I love your RAOK, teared up watching. Your Mom was so sweet and lovely. You are definitely a credit to her. I think what you did for your neighbor was so loving, God bless you. Thanks for the inspiration (laughter) and for sharing. I can't wait until the next Mystery Box Challenge series starts 🤗xo
The beginning of your video was hilarious and I think my favorite two were the gingerbread truck and the Chanel stems Christmas tree. I think I’m gonna try to make the Chanel stem Christmas tree.
Thank you Courtney for sharing memories of your mom with us. What an inspirational and lovely person. I really enjoy your mystery box challenges. All of the crafters are amazing and so very talented. Merry Christmas to you and your family and THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication. You matter, inspire, and truly make a difference in people's lives.
As usual you knocked it out of the park! Your intro was SPECTACULAR! Thanks for the MN shout out with the Land O Lakes hot cocoa! The tree using the funnel was my favorite, but I think all your projects were great!
For the Santa wine bag you can get one of the clear ball ornaments and paint a face on it, put faux beard on it and that little hat and hair and then you have a Santa 🎅 Or make a gnome out of it...
You made so many cute things. My name is Ginger and my husband calls me Gingerbread. The truck is my absolute favorite and almost a tie is the funnel Christmas tree. But I also loved the snowman bucket and the things you put in it. I do have a question; where did you get the marshmallow picks?
You nailed the Christmas tree with pipe cleaners. My boss told me she is going to be able to have Christmas due to financial reasons. I went and bought her gifts to give her daughter and grandkids
I absolutely loved everything that you did with your mystery box challenge. Veryone every one of them turned out wonderful. I hope you can. Understand this. I talked my text. Sometimes it says things that I don't want it to say. I'm sorry and I hope you have a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
The beginning of your video is halirious! I laughed so hard. You and Whitney did great on the additions on your mystery box video. So funny!!!! You did so good on your mystery box. I have to telll you, I enjoy these so much!!!
Loved this video! I laughed and cried and laughed again so thank you! I think the snowman bucket and pipe cleaner tree were so cute! By the way, the technical term for the mason jar “metal insert” is… the LID! Haha! Merry Christmas! 🎄
I love the lighted Merry Christmas. I was about to get out some of those pink silicone things to mail you when you got yours out while making that soaker hose tree. I think I will pass on that one. The funnel turned out ok. Not bad for a funnel. Merry Christmas!
You made like a tiki house once with your challenge item. I didn’t make it but if I was going to make one it would’ve been that or this funnel tree lol
Half way thru and have 2 thoughts. Maybe 2024 or 2025, your craft with the shadowbox and lights are going to show up in Crate and Barrel, Hobby Lobby, the huge expensive stores. Ok next, the Santa, was a perfect opportunity to make him the ole world style due to how tall he was. Ok back to video.
I love your Intro of beginning of the video it made me smile. The video of your mom made me cry. I lost my best friend last year. I give color book to hospital of her memory. Happy holidays courtney take care.😊
🥹 Courtney!!! Thank you for making the twist a RAK! I’m so honored to be included in the MBC this year. Thank you for all the work you put in to make it all happen! Merry Christmas to you and the Grinch 🎄😍
You got all of us crying with your RAK. I opened up my closet to my oldest granddaughters sister. All of the clothes are free to her. I can't wear them so why not give them away. They're all barely used.

What an awesome intro ! 😂

Love the gingerbread truck ❤️
You got all of us crying with your RAK. I opened up my closet to my oldest granddaughters sister. All of the clothes are free to her. I can't wear them so why not give them away. They're all barely used.
I hope all your viewers do RAK in honor of your Mother and You. I try to take food monthly to the food pantry. Also try to compliment someone everyday. You might just make their day.!
@barbaratrapp5773 I also try and compliment random people and I tell people I hope that they have a wonderful day all the time you would be surprised how many get this shocked look on their faces or get temporarily speechless which is kinda sad.
When we go shopping, my husband and I tell each clerk, etc “God Bless You”.
In 2020, so many clerks, etc would say, “Why, what did I do?” To which I replied, “You came in to work to help me.”
We never know when we might turn someone’s bad day into a blessed day.
Merry Christmas. And, God Bless You!!! Ruth
