i know PL mostly for their work in vanguard, and bakugan but god can they make a battle theme. after i watch through digimon ghost game i just might have to watch through xros
If anything ever happens to this song i’d cry my heart out, i remember role playing digimon hunters back in school, this theme will forever hold i special place in my heart, i wish i could go back to the simple times and bump to this song while everything was good and well
Not a Digimon fan, but I came across this tune by watching a Klonoa-related video uploaded by a Japanese UA-cam channel. Gotta say, this is one kickass theme.
Finally, I honestly feel Gumdramon deserved those goggles MORE than tagiru. He's the one with the character development, he's shown he's a capable leader, and he stood out as a more major character than Tagiru ever did. I cant help but feel Gumdramon is a strong capable leader and Tagiru is just there to help him digivolve.
In a way that's very fitting for the Digimon anime in general, as it's basically a superhero show where the superheroes are also monsters. Meanwhile the sidekicks are humans that supply the energy for their superhero power transformations via the sci-fi equivalent of a sidekick's support spell. So Gumdramon being the true protagonist is perfexctly within parameters :p
i honestly feel the same for shoutmon and a lot of the other digimon in the first part of Digimon Xros wars, the digimon had a ton of story, it was much better than the story of the human protagonists.
@DistrarSubvoyikar says that when it's the exact opposite for 2 seasons in particular... the spirit evolution one (I'm bricking on it's name) and savors/data squad while it could be argued for 02 and mayhaps tamers (the one with guilmon, terriermon, and renamon as the partners)

I dont remember data squad like that but i always thought marcus was a fan favorite character. Maybe I'm wrong though. Adventure / 02 and tamers though. Yea, the human characrers were well done there. Not sure about ghost game and i didn't watch appmon.
@@EXstormDragon prety sure appmon has good character arcs but the story itself is kinda.... ugh... to get through... also frontiers did have other digimon that worked alongside the humans... though i do get your point on that but feels like as though their arcs got intertwined which does make sense thematically with frontiers as a whole considering the season is full of fusion type things happening (weither it's the humans and spirits, or digimon and spirits, or just lucemon being a JERK)

It also helps that the fact that band Psychic Lover did this song. These guys did awesome tracks like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's final opening theme "Glory Days" and Cardfight Vanguard's Link Joker opening theme.
I still prefer Taiki over Tagiru. Taiki really did a great job in the first Arc. As for Tagiru, I personally think he's still nothing more mature than before (perhaps because the length of this arc is too short, they couldn't develop this character to the fullest). The only thing that I like the most about this Arc is about 6 Legendary Heroes. Being able to see the characters from the previous digi films like Taiki, Takato, Daisuke, etc is really quite exciting.
Remember when Digimon Hunters had an English dub for five seconds on UA-cam before being shut down? Remember how Fusion killed western interest in Digimon for almost a decade? I need a Hunters American release yesterday.
When I first watched this arc of Xros Wars, I didn't like that this new character, Tagiru came into the picture because I got so used to Taiki, but then I slowly got used to Tagiru too. I still prefer Taiki over Tagiru, but then again I like them both the same.

I probably wouldn't have minded the whole of hunters but one moment changed my entire perspective. We all probably figured that taiki had to give up his goggles at one point. Throughout all of hunters Tagiru.... never changed at all. He was an cheeky little snot at the beginning and he never really got a personallity change throughout the series. His character was stagnant and boring to me. I really love this theme - I was wondering why it sounded really familiar, until I noticed Psychic Lover made it. XD I first heard their music 11 years ago in Transformers Micron Legend - that show made me a Transformers fangirl when I was 15.
It may or may not me the official end of Digimon. And while the official end of Digimon would be sad, there would still be a part of Digimon alive and kicking: the fan-fics. There are dozens of fantastic Digimon fan-fics out there that you can enjoy, and they're SO much better than Xros Wars ever could be. So even if Bandai doesn't want to make anymore Digimon for us, at least there are plenty of fans willing to take up the mantle. So it's not so bad.
Gallantmon is just Dukemon's english name. They refer to the same Digimon. When he join forces with Grani he becomes Dukemon Crimson Mode or (Gallantmon Crimson Mode in the dub).
