This song always gets me fired up! It quickly became one of my favorite Digimon songs.
Pfff this song is anything but underwhelming.

Not a Digimon fan, but I came across this tune by watching a Klonoa-related video uploaded by a Japanese UA-cam channel. Gotta say, this is one kickass theme.

i know PL mostly for their work in vanguard, and bakugan but god can they make a battle theme. after i watch through digimon ghost game i just might have to watch through xros

@@EmeraldEtherious Digimon Xros Wars was called "Digimon Fusion" in the west so Xros Wars had a sequel in the form of a series with a stupidly long name that we are just going to refer to as "Digimon Xros Wars hunters" and this song is from Hunters.

Say what you want about Tagiru, this theme song is friggin awesome.
Finally, I honestly feel Gumdramon deserved those goggles MORE than tagiru. He's the one with the character development, he's shown he's a capable leader, and he stood out as a more major character than Tagiru ever did. I cant help but feel Gumdramon is a strong capable leader and Tagiru is just there to help him digivolve.
In a way that's very fitting for the Digimon anime in general, as it's basically a superhero show where the superheroes are also monsters. Meanwhile the sidekicks are humans that supply the energy for their superhero power transformations via the sci-fi equivalent of a sidekick's support spell.
So Gumdramon being the true protagonist is perfexctly within parameters :p
i honestly feel the same for shoutmon and a lot of the other digimon in the first part of Digimon Xros wars, the digimon had a ton of story, it was much better than the story of the human protagonists.
@DistrarSubvoyikar says that when it's the exact opposite for 2 seasons in particular... the spirit evolution one (I'm bricking on it's name) and savors/data squad while it could be argued for 02 and mayhaps tamers (the one with guilmon, terriermon, and renamon as the partners)
@@blazesona12 dont know if you can include frontiers *the season you were thinking of* sense the kids become digimon in that season. I dont remember data squad like that but i always thought marcus was a fan favorite character. Maybe I'm wrong though. Adventure / 02 and tamers though. Yea, the human characrers were well done there. Not sure about ghost game and i didn't watch appmon.
@@EXstormDragon prety sure appmon has good character arcs but the story itself is kinda.... ugh... to get through... also frontiers did have other digimon that worked alongside the humans... though i do get your point on that but feels like as though their arcs got intertwined which does make sense thematically with frontiers as a whole considering the season is full of fusion type things happening (weither it's the humans and spirits, or digimon and spirits, or just lucemon being a JERK)
I love tagiru and gumdramon, their energy just reminds me of myself. i also can't wait to see Tri on Thursday

It also helps that the fact that band Psychic Lover did this song. These guys did awesome tracks like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's final opening theme "Glory Days" and Cardfight Vanguard's Link Joker opening theme.

I still prefer Taiki over Tagiru. Taiki really did a great job in the first Arc. As for Tagiru, I personally think he's still nothing more mature than before (perhaps because the length of this arc is too short, they couldn't develop this character to the fullest). The only thing that I like the most about this Arc is about 6 Legendary Heroes. Being able to see the characters from the previous digi films like Taiki, Takato, Daisuke, etc is really quite exciting.
Remember when Digimon Hunters had an English dub for five seconds on UA-cam before being shut down?
Remember how Fusion killed western interest in Digimon for almost a decade?

When I first watched this arc of Xros Wars, I didn't like that this new character, Tagiru came into the picture because I got so used to Taiki, but then I slowly got used to Tagiru too. I still prefer Taiki over Tagiru, but then again I like them both the same.

I know right? I wait in hope of a part 2 of Hunters, a bit like Seven Death Generals of Xros Wars. It would star all the heroes of the past sigimon shows in one group, and would actually develop Tagiru's character in a similar way to Judai/Jaden season 3 of Yugioh GX.

I probably wouldn't have minded the whole of hunters but one moment changed my entire perspective. We all probably figured that taiki had to give up his goggles at one point. That's just the way it was. I would've accepted it if it weren't for one thing. Taiki...only gave his goggles to Tagiru in an act of desperation and a confidence booster. Continue to next post.

This probably won't be the end, they just went big with the online game, they will probably get another season in, depending if fusion battles (Xros Wars) goes big around the world.

Funny that Xros wars had 54 episodes and pretty much no character moments between Taiki and Shoutmon while Hunters had 25 episodes and 2 episodes worth of character moments for Tagiru and Gumdramon

I'm guessing Tagiru's name came after the song.
Throughout all of hunters Tagiru.... never changed at all. He was an cheeky little snot at the beginning and he never really got a personallity change throughout the series. His character was stagnant and boring to me. He never proved himself to be a confident leader and if he ever stood out it would've felt forced on the creator's part because he was the star of the show.

I really love this theme - I was wondering why it sounded really familiar, until I noticed Psychic Lover made it. XD I first heard their music 11 years ago in Transformers Micron Legend - that show made me a Transformers fangirl when I was 15.

THIS IS OVERFLOWING POWER!!! OMG, That's probably the best evolution song ever(but i have to say that "Brave Heart" still gives me goosebumps). Second one that gives that much power is probably "The Last Element" from Frontier, IMO.

Gallantmon is just Dukemon's english name. They refer to the same Digimon.
When he join forces with Grani he becomes Dukemon Crimson Mode or (Gallantmon Crimson Mode in the dub).
Don't worry, it isn't. It was announced that they'll jsut be taking a small break after Xros Wars ended. Season 8 will be created in the future, do not worry.
Why everyone hates Tagiru? he got a lot of character and charisma, plus he is really funny and enthusiasmic lol
His spirit is one of his strongest things about his character for sure, and he grows on you for sure considering that he has his flaws but he's always driven by his passionate heart and how he loves to hunt as well as helping humans and Digimon alike.

I like hunters. It has strong music nicely animated scenes and just feels all around good. The story and character development on the other hand (especially in tagiru) just made me give up on hunters ever being anything more than ok. I'm sorry if you feel that doesn't make me a true digifan (Even though I'm entitled to my opinion even if you dont like it.) but it's how I feel.

This show would probably be more interesting if the fusion loaders worked the same way they did in the original instead of fusing two at a time per fusion loader
And Tagiru fused different digimon like persay dobermon and ogremon or something

Yeah... I wish the fusion loader of previous series work as it does work. And the new fusion loader just 2 combination per fusion.
It may or may not me the official end of Digimon. And while the official end of Digimon would be sad, there would still be a part of Digimon alive and kicking: the fan-fics. There are dozens of fantastic Digimon fan-fics out there that you can enjoy, and they're SO much better than Xros Wars ever could be. So even if Bandai doesn't want to make anymore Digimon for us, at least there are plenty of fans willing to take up the mantle. So it's not so bad.

I think it depends on the taste. I absolutely adore the Fairy Tail soundtrack, but Digimon got more of a kick-ass feeling to it, which is why I would put it higher than Fairy Tail even if by just a little.
You say that, but there were several moments that they could have even had a few words, while the characters just stood there and watched. Oddest were V-mon, whose voice actress, Junko Noda, was in the studio to voice-act a minor Hunter character that same episode, and Guilmon/Dukemon whose voice actress, Masako Nozawa, reprised her role as Dukemon for the X-evolution movie and Savers.
This song is pretty awesome, also Tagiru is not sucky he's not just the superman kind of leader that digimon tends to have. (with exception of Takato which isnt a Superman)

Definitely! I mean... if they didn't show so much filler episodes at the beginning and just moved straight on to the main story I have A feeling this season would have been awesome. One of the best even. Sadly they waited to long for the story that it cancelled and is now known as the worst digimon season up to date. >.
