While I'm glad not to get too many nasty comments here, I just want to point out I'm the originator of this footage! Actually this was recorded by my mom 30 years ago, when the guys from Toledo Eleven showed up at the "Huggy Bear Restaurant" for that story on drive-in restaurants (that place was a former A&W BTW). She appears at 9:49 in this video (along with her RV at the time).

@@inbankwetrustshakur3523 Yep. The location stated as a A&W until '85 or so, it them became a local establishment called Buggy Bear and lasted about a decade. It has since became a few indoor restaurants with different names.

Funny how slow-paced it is. It wasn't then, but with the in-your-face off noise and fast talking we have noise,, it is now. Good to see news that is pre-terroristic and not all about murders.

Technology has changed, but humans have not. We are still the same. Not one bit has changed.

@@markgriffin5889 he retired over a decade ago due to the changes in the news reporting industry. He was one of the last of the old Toledo Newsboys and disliked the way technology drove the business. Chrys Peterson left in 2014. Jerry Anderson retired in 2018. Orris and Charlie are both deceased. Robert Shiels retired in 2021. Dan Cummins is the only one left and after a period as sports director he transitioned to news.
