I had mine disconnected to see if the gas pump would run and it STILL shuts off. I first had my gas vent replaced and THAT wasn't the fix either. My mechanics are telling me they are baffled, and all they can think to do is drop the tank ($1500) to see the lines above the tank. HELP!! I'm a widow on a fixed income. I think with so many having this same issue, there should be a recall of some kind

In a pinch a guy can still add gas with a can. The flow is slow enough, that air can escape as you pour.
    Great Video !

I’d almost remove the bed before the universal joint and shaft. Idk . My Ford sport track has this problem. Put 10.00 in at a time and takes forever. There is a plastic check valve in the tank at main fill hose that gets stuck as well. Pull hose off and use screw driver to push in on it and free it up more.

A new Charcoal Cannister and Solenoid valve did not fix my 3.6 2020 Acadia. Next step may be to replace the Fuel Tank (Saddle Type with the AWD).

Try the bypass method description in the video. If that still doesn’t work, there may be a restriction in the fill neck hose.

In the same way that is shown in this video. You can bypass and or replace the EVAP Canister. Here is a link to a new one for the 1994 Ford E350 w/7.5L gas engine: amzn.to/3TuFt5L

Look for a restriction in the Fill neck.

My vent hose, fuel pump assembly, charcoal canister, and secondary vent lines are clogged up with a green/grey glue like foam similar to Great Stuff. All vent hoses are filled with this hard foam inside. My truck runs fine but it takes me a hour to fill my fuel tank. I am going to eliminate it by adding 5/8" metal fittings and hose to the secondary vent at the back of the gas tank and have a shutoff valve handle in the inside of the fill port next to the fill line. I am sick and tired of this BS with my Chevy truck and don't want to replace the complete fuel system and vent system. I have spent enough money as it is. I didn't have this problem back before I took my truck to the dealership for a airbag recall. There was A LOT of problems that suddenly started happening after that airbag recall.

Sounds like you are on your way to being able to fill the fuel tank without it shutting off.

      Quick tip:
If you are in a pinch and really need gas but don't have time to crawl under your vehicle you can always add gas with a can until you can get to fixin' ....
The flow is slow enough that air can flow out as you pour.
      Very Good Video
Keep up the Good 👍 Work !
      Cheers. !!
