Makeup by Mario sticks - I highly recommend putting product on back of hand then picking up with brush on opposite end or sponge. His stuff goes a LOOOOONG way. I think you may have applied too much. Totally fixable. Turned out beautiful!

When you were trying to blend out the bronzer. I was like she has to have a sponge nearby! Where is her song. Looks like a little of that goes a long way. And the Dior powder definitely came to the rescue! I'm so sorry about people's behaviors and the things they say. Some of it is so high-school mentality and I don't understand why people stay in the state of mind for so long. In a way I kinda pity them because it keeps them from growing and learning. It's just really sad and I'm sorry for how much it can effect your life. If someone doesn't like someone they should simply not watch them.

I had the same issue with the bronzer stick. I could not get the brush to work. I actually use a different brush and it belends out perfectly
You can tell your skin has gotten better bc your happy now you can see the spark back in you I am so happy to see it. It definitely broke my heart seeing you heartbroken and in pain

Girl, you are NOT wrong. As my small channel is growing it's shocking the things people will type out and spend energy on to tell you how much you've changed or suck because of whatever they think at the time... yesh... it's a lot for sure. I don't get it a ton- just here and there, but it always knocks me back a minute. You keep going, girl! You're awesome!
As a professional MUA my impression on the Mario products is that you accidentally used too much. Use a much lighter hand and far less product. I think you will enjoy it with those changes. On the blush you used three dots when one would have been enough. On the contour just use the edge of the tube not the full product. Hope this helps. Love your videos! I used to live in Vegas and I miss it so much! It is an amazing city. Have fun!

@Dawn Mariesa Yep, you are doing it correctly Dawn. With products that are more of a professional product, which are usually more pigmented, less is more is the key!
@@CD-te8lo that’s exactly what I thought with blush. The Kristie video if you haven’t seen it, she used a much lighter shade that was closer to her skin tone and just a few taps practically blended it in even with slightly more product. How good is that Dior powder though to rescue that 🙌🏼

This is a great example that all colors can not or should not be used by all skin tones without extreme care! All my best and thanks for the post!

With the Mario products, I start off with the brush, and then finish with a beauty blender. It looks gorgeous!

Hey Samantha! There’s a brush called Precision Airbrush Stipple from Elf- it’s $10 but it’s a GAME CHANGER when it comes to cream products, especially in stick form! I tap the brush onto the stick and then “stipple” it exactly where I want it and they blend into a dream 9 times out of 10. I hope you try it! Much love. 💜
I would be so interested in a video about changes you’ve noticed in your makeup preferences and routine. Do you still get use out of your NARS pot concealer and things like your ND Mini Nude? So funny how things change. Loving the evolution!

All’s well that ends well! You got what looked like a disaster to look gorgeous. I love watching someone that knows what they’re doing “fix” their makeup. I learn so much from that. I’m not good at knowing what to do when things go wrong (which happens to me more often than once in a blue moon). The cream shadow with the powder tapped on top looks so velvety! 👏🏻

I think the best applications I've seen with the Mario bronzer have been with a sponge. Maybe that included brush just isn't the best? No matter, you're gorgeous!

Personally I think it’s best to leave the skin tints for the beach, the boat, a quick trip to the grocery store but not going out at night. It’s too much work to add concealer and it doesn’t look the best if you’re going to do a full eye look. I just can’t with cream bronzers (especially that one with its odd packaging and brush) plus all the brown eye makeup - it makes my face look dirty. So impressed you didn’t wash it off and made it all work with the powder. That stuff really IS magic. I would pick it up for sure if Dior didn’t scent their products. Good job!
Dior to the rescue! I am so glad that I got that powder after I saw you were so happy with it. I have two tips? Maybe try it with your own brush, because I have heard that attached brush is not great. If that doesn't work try it with a skin tint that you already know works well and then try the stick bronzer and blush with that.

I think the skin tint has the potential to give you exactly what you want out of it if you switch up your application from swiping with your hands to patting with your hands instead! (At least on the blemishes) because the finish looked really pretty but it just didn’t stick to spots!
When I get blemishes, especially as they head/scar they tend to be pretty raised, and sweeping kind of guarantees those raised bits get product pushed off of them/pools around them, so I tend to smush a thin layer all over my face first, then go in and pat over too and 9/10 the coverage goes waaaay further !
Also you already fully sold me on the Dior powder weeks ago but now I’m even more sold, my word it truly swooped in and saved that Neapolitan cheek vibe which god I need haha

I would recommend using the Tarte Serum foundation as you would a foundation not like a tint. I use a a good squeeze of product with sponge and it looks amazing!!!! I am 40 and have fine lines and dryness and it makes my skin look flawless all day.

I know the Mario blush comes with it's own brush, but I'd recommend patting your own brush lightly on the blush stick and then apply that way so you have more control. The Hydroflex is also my new favorite tint right now (was lucky I could purchase the mini to give it a try). And how gorgeous was that final look?! Those eyes!!!
Agree 100% I use cream daily and would never apply it on the face directly. Warm it up on your hand or apply to brush then face.

When I have a cream product blending emergency I whip out that little mini 🖤 Blendiful puff by Tati. Always smoothly blends without disturbing my foundation. You look gorgeous and hope your Iowegians had a good time.
This look was a roller coaster of emotions, but I love how it looks & love story times & GRWM's. That #Dior saved the day! 💓 You are just making want to get the Patrick Ta palette, even more. The dark brown shadow, brought out your eyes more. BTW, I've seen some people putting the cream products on a brush or sponge before applying. Hopefully tgat helps. #SamSquad 💜

I was able to snag the new Tarte concealer, which comes in a really convenient “trial size” at Sephora. I love it. It’s super thin, which is fabulous in the summertime . You might love it in the Vegas heat.
This video should instead be called “Why You Need to Buy the Dior Powder No Powder” or “The Dior Powder No Powder Saves the Day” and then I think Dior needs to watch this and pay you a commission for how many powders you are going to sell for them off this video (me included 🙋🏼♀️). I’m 42 and I remember the days of perfect youthful skin. My skin has always been pretty good. Even now I just have to even out my tone. I have small pores and mostly even tone. Back in the youthful perfect skin days I never wore any foundation or coverage at all. Why do woman with youthful perfect skin even wear foundation? Some day they will wish they hadn’t! Also I got the Dior powder on your recommendation and I never thought anything would replace my Charlotte Tilbury powder… Dior grounded Charlotte to the back of the drawer. You and I have very similar skin coloring so if I’m not sure which color complexion products to order I just go see which shade you wear and that has never failed me. P.S. brush tapping is just good ASMR! 😆
