- MULTI-PARTY COMPUTATION (MPC) : what it is, why and how we use it by Partisia Blockchain’s co-founder, Dr. Ivan Damgård, Denmark's Godfather of Cryptography!
Ivan's research has made a major impact on the crypto scene worldwide, making him one of the most prolific and influential authors in the cryptographic research community. His ideas have had a major impact in shaping many areas of cryptography, such as foundations and practical deployment of multi-party computation protocols, design of hash functions, secret-sharing, zero-knowledge protocols, quantum cryptography, and more.
We invite you to learn about MPC directly from the inventor himself in an easy-to-understand way. Thanks for watching and being part of the Partisia Blockchain community! Your comments and likes are appreciated :)
such great Example, it shows the powerful and experienced brains behind #Partisia, Respect 🙏
Great educative, short and clear video! Love these! Keep them coming
Nice, simple example. Looking forward to more complex ideas based around the power of MPC!
Great explanation, very clear!
This just made me question 28 years of life!
I... I need to step back and maybe one day return to this video but hopefully with new answers.
Very simple explanation even to me im not very experienced in english language but i understod
secure MPC explained simply. With the advent of quantum computing, is it possible to work back to get the individual weights? Just thinking out of the box.
Great explanation !
Educative and Horizon Broadening
Excellent 👍
25/10/2025 Good luck Partisia !
nice simple example. damn!!
I will join your team someday
thanks

What if there were only two people? In that case the same idea would reveal the salary of the other person.
Yeah the anonymity set needs to be big enough
