Like you said, those rubber coolant pipe are notorious for breaking after a while and the oil will just leak out and ruining the engine. Glad you got it done. Those Lexus at that generation is of good quality except for that one part. Glad you changed it to the metal!
What size and length 12mm socket did you use for that bottom bolt on the stud on the right side? I just got a gearwrench 1/4 inch mid length socket set, but im not sure if the hole in the socket is large enough for top of the stud. Probably a 3 /8 mid length socket would have a large hole so it would not bottom out.

I can’t recall if it was 1/4 or 3/8 drive, I would recommend having both on hand!
How much oil is lost during this upgrade?
Have any videos on replacing motor and transmission mounts? 1992 k2500 5.7 4x4. Thanks
We don’t. Sorry.
Where could I find new bolts for this part? The bolts I have are rusted and stripped
Any hardware store

@@SuburbanRanchdo you know if the 2013s RX350 had rubber hoses or were they upgraded from the factory?
@accobra4272 2013 should already have the metal lines. I believe 2012 was the first year with metal lines.
@@SuburbanRanch ok thank you!
THANK GOD! I recently got the 2012 and at least I don't have to worry about this @@SuburbanRanch
Question: how do you know that the protrusion on the gaskets face the pipes? can't find that anywhere else ty
I compared it to the original that I removed.

Does this affect the 2013 model year Lexus rx350
I think it was fixed by 2013
Will this drain all of the oil and i have to replace oil after install?
I did it during an oil change. I don’t think you would lose all of the oil, but you will certainly lose some and need to top it off.
Any reason to not replace studs with bolts?
No need to!
What’s the Lexus part number for the metal replacement part? Thanks!
There’s a link to it in the video description.
@@SuburbanRanch 🙏
