0:52 Okay so i’m not the only one who messes up Steve’s df 1 2~1, it feels like the timing is slightly different in this game than it was in T7.
i play pad and i just slide my finger from 1 -> 2 -> 1 in one motion. I can get it consistently
Oh yes. Here here. Can confirm that the animations and some movesets feels off with Steve in Tekken 8 compared to Tekken 7. It takes some time to getting used to. But overall I feel we have the best Steve Fox in Tekken 8. Put some time in folks. Punch out!

Funny to see even LowHigh not daring to go into lionheart stance ever, or ducking out of it immediately whenever he's forced into it by some move. Goes to show how terrible it is.

@thebit6071 lionheart is not good because all the options you get from it can be beat by a powercrush, and quite often you get jabbed out of it. It's very easy to stop steve from rushing you down.
Most opponents will just stay standing and take the guard break, but what does steve get from it? A scaled down 2,2 which is nothing compared to the rest of the cast.
Outfox is nice for making people whiff.
But overall the stance is terrible.
And what are you even talking about? Duck cancelling makes stances good? No?

Not to mention they got rid of one of his launchers to push lion heart stance. Fucking dumb
What is the notation for the combo he does at the wall? I usually just machine gun punch straght away, but he does two hits before he does the f3, 1+2.

How did he at 0:28 F3 out of F2-1 so fast I cannot replicate that
f2,1~b f3. you have to go into flicker stance with holding back after certain moves to get it fast
You need to learn how to flicker cancel.
Basically, any move that transitions into flicker can be followed up with an instant duck in with the right timing.

It should be:
b1, hold b to go into flk > f3 extended, 1 > df1, (2,1), hold b to go into flk > f3, 1 > f2, 2, 2 > dash > 3, 1, 2, 2

I know that Feng at 5:28 was going for a Yujiro cosplay but he just ended up looking like Hwoarang so it confused me for a good minute.

I've always loved that pro players customizations are simple and how they don't take customization too seriously and excessively customize their character.
