- We already know that Strider Bikes products are the best way to get your kiddo riding really early in life. But does the balance and courage they develop really transfer into riding a pedal bike earlier? YES! We got together with our lil friend Aspen who is only 2 years old but has grown up on her Strider bikes. Watch how quickly she goes from striding like a pro to pedaling like a champ!

Oh my gosh I totally cried when she got the hang of it! Time to put our pedals on!
My son learned to ride when he was 3 and a half. The bike shop took the pedals off a 12" bike, he used it as a balance bike to go on a walk, took a nap, woke up ready to put the pedals on and that was all there was to it.
Letting him learn to ride early was the best parenting decision ever. Little bitty knees just a going. We took him to a BMX park, he was high on the berm. My sister yelled, "take it a little lower buddy." He turned the wheel, the bike flew down the berm and he was hooked.
He was so lean and so healthy at his kindergarten physical the doctor was surprised. It balances the hemispheres of the brain. If I had a chance to let him learn even earlier with a strider bike, I absolutely would. There's no better gift you can give a child than health and a balanced brain.
This is awesome, we are about to place my son’s pedals on his bike. He turned 3 yesterday. Thank you for this video.
We can't wait to see some sweet footage of him pedaling like a pro!
I got my godson, who will be 3 in November, and my goddaughter, who is 1.5, the Sport 12 bikes for this Christmas. I figure they'll get 2-3 good years out of them, then pass them on to younger relatives and graduate to their first pedal bikes in 2025-2026.
Awesome!
Great kid. Inspiring!!
How nice
How tall is she. I have a two year old who has a 12” balance bike who is ready to move on to a pedal bike. I want to make sure that the 14” will fit him.
The best way to know if the 14x will fit is by measuring your child's inseam. The 14x fits an inseam of 40-58cm (16-23 inches). You can watch a video on how to measure their inseam here: ua-cam.com/video/1oG80PMqva0/v-deo.html
How about brakes?
Our US version of the 14x Sport has a coaster brake.
did I miss the how to ? She figured it out herself..
At about the 5:30 mark of the video Susie explains that although we tried to give cues the biggest thing we did to help teach her how to pedal was to allow her the time to try on her own. That's the huge benefit of the Strider 14x it's such a natural progression that they basically teach themselves!
@@striderbikes my fault, I didn’t realize this was a video from the official brand….
Are the tires a little more flat like the 12?
The 14x has pneumatic tires. If you keep them inflated to the recommended 36psi they're comparable to any other standard bike tire.
Please fo the pedaling come with the bike
The pedals are sold separately. Thanks!
Great product, sub par video. Supposed to be a “learn to pedal” video, spent half the time on install. Used a kid too small for the bike, said not to hold the bike then held the bike, etc. Needs an update done right.
