Very cool!!! Beautiful work. As a retired woodworker, I really enjoyed watching another professional make something fun with hand tools. I appreciate hearing specific terms: dovetail saw, chamfer an edge; such a great change from watching hobbyists. Wonderful to see another professional.

I made one similar last year from aromatic Huon pine. The heart feature was a great touch I might steal in my next iteration. Loved the close ups of the progress and final product.

The comb turned out amazing, I bought my wooden comb today, but the gesture brought tears of joy in my eyes. I'm in my early 20s and don't have kids yet, but your daughter's reaction was priceless.. ❤ may all children grow with loving and caring parents. 🙏🏻

Interesting that you made an airplane and a comb for your daughter! I remember that your daughter really enjoyed the airplane when you showed them last time. A comb really puts forth the idea of being pretty while an airplane encourages adventurous playing.

ur vids are great 👍🏻 just wanted to give u a tip (not that u need it). when u use sand paper to sand inside small holes like that heart shape again, maybe glue or double side tape sand paper to a small dowel. just a thought 👍🏻

Nicely done Andy. I would've thought to use Californian Lilac due to its naturally occurring pinkish red-orange color of the wood as a comb for your daughter...unless the hates pink or redish-orange.
