- The man who invented the Steadicam has now created the “Zeen”, an improved wheelchair that allows people to safely stand. NBC10’s Frances Wang spoke with Garrett Brown about his latest creation.

WELL... the price is NOT going down.... currently is a 4000 dollar PLUS
Its a great concept but for me it is too bulky to put in a car, has no where to store or carry any thing. I hope they willstream line it to reduce bulk and add a small motor.
They're probably WAYYYYY ahead of that. Keep in mind, this is the guy who invented the steady-cam. If you don't know what that is, just think of The Shining and Rocky and ask yourself what they have in common. They both have shots that include running. That's because he invented a camera rig that you could walk with. He must have learned how to compartmentalize that rig to the point that it was able to be carried around easily. He could have used that engineering to go towards this chair.
