the story is taken from an English novel and made some changes to meet the liking of Indian audience it became a hit in Malayalam the same director out of greed made it in Tamil and sold the script to Hindi makers ,it doesn't happen in no country,this shows the producers so greedy of money and the lack of a good script in movies especially in India, so pathetic
nothing wrong in remaking in many languages as India is such a big country with plenty of regional languages.
@@neelcamal its not about remaking some of the recent hits in malayalam like bangalore days and premam has been also remade and literally ruined the feel and quality of the original ones in telugu and tamil,the malayalam version has been a huge hit in north India people viewed it with subtitles and dubbing and they loved it ,still producers being greedy remakes them for those who still insist that it should be make with their hero and language ,after all all they do is a scene by scene retake of the original and for those who have scene the original its like murdering themselves,its a shame and clearly shows we doesn't have good scripts and writers now in India
@@thewidowmaker947 i agree with you about how some of the remakes are nowhere near the originals. In fact, Manichirathazu film was totally a trash when it was remade in Tamil. However, some remakes were still better when remade - like Dhrishyam malayalam was made in Tamil as Papanasam it was superb and people loved it, like munnabai mbbs was made nicely in Tamil as Vasool Raja. Some do better some were totally junk. It happens. Finally, these are stories, not literature.

This scene doesn't make sense at all, this how director making a fool of audience
1. If your son is missing, as parents you should file a FIR.
2. then proceed with investigation.
3. this inspector telling all tower information without paper document / reports. how a person kept all information in brain.
4. why kamal need to tell indirectly that he accidentally killed. or spouse.
5. I know what is cinema, but in reality doesn't for me anyone...
i saw papanasam and malyali version, Mohanlal acted so real behaviour, serious face, mohanlal so much better than kamal..... my feedback
1. She is a police herself, she knows what to do, filing an FIR is only necessary for common people, so that necessary action will be taken.
2. Investigation continued even without FIR, coz she has the power
3. Whatever the inspector said is not some formula from rocket science, it was some 2-3 names that could be remembered by anyone with basic memory power.
Ur 4th and 5th point dont make any sense.
And about kamal’s acting , pls dont comment if u have no idea about tirunelveli , tenkaasi region slang or other works of kamal haasan.

@@richievellalar3214 ofcourse i am a nobody to teach you india’s law and order. And i never said what she did was legal or ethical.. she herself accepted that in the movie. What i do know that is people in higher positions espc in the police dept do tend to use their power and influence to get things done their way which is what was potrayed in the movie.
