That is some excellent editing Dave. There is quite a considerable amount of work setting up cameras for each and every shot in this one. Brilliantly done, looking forward to part 2 💪💪
Cheers Peter, the part2 involved a bit more production effort
@@davesterl you are a glutton for punishment Dave 😂😂😂
I’m still looking forward to it though 👍
nice video. this girl is on fire! That red hair! So cute! I also have two daughters but they are 23 and 22 years old now.
Dave another great video with plenty of content and advice. I watch loads of your videos. They have helped when I work on cars.
Another great video Dave, thank you.... one of best channels on UA-cam, keep her at it.
Had the same problems with a 1.9tdi vw beetle got the turbo replaced helped , ended up replacement vacuum pipes , that cured the proplem, your videos are excellent Dave.
Great work Dave. |Looking forward to part two. Keep up the good work👌👌

I didn’t know that tool existed. I’ve ordered from your Amazon Dave 👍
Tes Iknow this is a late comment, excellent info.
Got a part 2 coming? Having the same issue with my mk4 golf ATD engine and no idea what I'm doing with it but this video has been the best help I've found in the past week 😅
If you subscribe and hit notifications you'll see when part2 gets uploaded
My caddy dash warning lights are all so dim you can only see them on a really dark morning, a bit annoying but it can only help get through the cvrt! .. looking forward to part 2 👌
Thank you. I have a pd with 400k miles. I am on jt second turbo.
Hello Dave, Love the videos.
Ive an issue with my B6 Passat 2L 140PD, im a mechanic myself and i've tried with alot of other technicians about what my issue could be.
It is intermittent but also comes on under harsh acceleration uphill?
So my coil light will come on and flash aswell as another light which i cant seem to remember lol.
Once this happens the car will go into limp mode, this can remain for 1-3 days and then the fault will remove itself
When it happens under harsh acceleration i can simply flick the ignition to remove it also.
I'm under the impression ive a split diaphragm in my turbo actuator but i've no access to a mittivac to confirm this issue.
Just want to know your thoughts.
All the best

Not familiar with early PDs, but the (finally also Euro 3) VE pump TDIs only used the glow plug light to signal errors instead of the CEL
Flashing glow plug light usually is indicative of a fuelling/injection problem. An overboost or underboost should show MIL. In this case we had neither warning lights.
I had a similar issue and it was the diesel filter 😂
Nice video Dave. Mk4 golf with only 92k miles! It must have been a Sunday car lol
oh yes, only used to go to church
What's the bore scope like? My old snap on broke the other day
I’m at 10:36 and I would guess a clogged up DPF.
Nope that’s not consistent with overboost at 13:27
15:45 You’ve got all the tools! 👌
19:09 Some cars have their turbo integrated in the outlet manifold and a nice water to air intercooler on top of it.
22:50 You’ve got all the tools (2) 😁
a water to air intercooler???
