@11 00 saban genuinely had a moment you could see him holding the emotion back people can say what they want but the most important part to nick is developing 18 year old boys into grown men in 4 years and he truly cares about every single one of his players kudos to you nick for showing your soft side.

hehe.. Yeah no doubt. Of course -- Alabama ALWAYS adjusts -- even when the game is going well, there are some adjustments nothing is absolutely perfect :p
Saban is the best at adjustments imo as well -- which is just one of many things that makes him the highest paid/best in the business.
Alabama "Crimson Tide" fan here. After the game I took a stroll through town and saw MANY Auburn hats, shirts, sweaters, and jackets on the roads!! It's just a game, but damn! On the other side, I've gotta admit that I only like two football teams... 1. ALABAMA!!!! 2. Whoever plays Auburn!

I think that he is the best current coach, give him a few years and he'll definitely be the best ever. Coach Bryant is still the best, with Saban being a close second.

Saban and Coach Calapari at KY have killed any suspense leading into the football and basketball seasons. It sucks knowing both programs are going to jack you year in and year out. No one else gets a chance to win.
It's very doubtful that Coach Saban will leave Bama. It's far more likely he will retire from football from there. There are coaches that are suited to coach at certain levels.....Coach Saban's level is college. It's not that he wouldn't be an awesome pro coach, it's just that he's dealing with a different animal, a different set of circumstances in the pros. When a player is recruited to come to Bama, they are 17, 18, 19 years old...yeah, there are a few JC players who are just a year or two older, but that is the general age range. Saban, and his coaching staff can scare the hell out of those guys....he can make them do it HIS WAY, or they don't play. It's very simple. College is essentially an audition for the pros....but if you don't get on the field, no one knows who you are.
With pro players, they KNOW they're going to get paid, whether they play or not. If they don't play, it just extends their career, they can go free agent. It's much easier for Coach Saban and his staff to get the attention of a young guy than it is someone who is making a lot of money regardless..... I love Coach Saban, and am a LONG time Bama fan....but even I'll say, his brand of coaching, his style, doesn't translate as well to the pros as it does in the college game. He's not going anywhere...and every year these same predictions come up......
