The reason people actually feared sasaki kojiro was because of his signature move sasaki was similar to musashi they both never lost any duels they both were very reputable kojiro's signature move was called tsubamē gaēshi which literally translates to 'the swallow cutter' which consisted of 3 steps the reason mussashi wore that towel over his forehead was to defend himself against kojiro's signature mive the reason kojiro's sword was longer than usual so that he can easily kill his opponent with his signature move without breaking a sweat in first step of this signature move of kojiro he would strike with his sword towards the ground which usually killed his opponent as his sword was very long and heavy in second step of the move kojiro would strike his sword up ugain it was called the swallow cutter as this move by kojiro was done so fast that he could have cut a swollow coming at him with a speed of 60 km/hour basically even seeing his sword moving was a big deal so to dodge the firat step musashi wore that towel the towel got vut in the first strike of the move but nothing happened to musashi in before kojiro could do the second step musashi had already jumped in air and there he striked kojiro in head killing him just imagine you wouldn't be able to blink your eye and u will die with that move of kojiro as that move was done withing FRACTION OF SECONDS i am not exaggerating here it was done IN FRACTION OF SECONDS for real meanwhile musashi literally jumped and smashed the head of Sasaki kojiro
