The aftermarket is booming now with sound mods for electric vehicles. You can get a big speaker mounted under the front or the back of the vehicle and you can change the sound it makes from a Ferrari , to a mustang v8 to a lambo. And then turn it right off to make it whisper quiet. I’m for sure getting one. I currently have a 2020 Gmc Sierra 5.3 v8. And my biggest worry about getting my Silverado rst Ev is the sound. I heard it might have a propulsion sound option built in. But I prefer to choose any sound I want on my phone

Well my friend I am not a fan of EV's and what you are saying about range anxiety is one thing that would drive me (no pun) quite mad. Plus the wait for the thing to charge and the fire risk is more than enough to even again drive me insane. As for infrastructure for charging I recently saw a video where the fellow driving one of these wretched vehicles in California where they seem hell bent on going fully electric - stop at five charging stations before he could find one that either worked or was not vandalised. That would be catastrophic if that happened on a long trip out here in Australia where the infrastructure is really pathetic unless you live in a city environment but even then I would gamble that the charging stations would be backed up with vehicles wanting to charge up.
