my mom is getting a new car soon (SUV) and we would like a five seater but it has to have a trunk big enough to fit a Golden Retreiver. We went to a car show today and saw this one, its big enough, what are some other luxury/sport SUV's beside the Mercedes M~ and the BMW X5?

We have an MKX and love it. It was just odd because we only owned expoditions in the past. Big size diff LOL. It came with 22's wich were bittersweet because the use a lot of gas and makes the ride bumpy >.
Its a good thing that ford has more saftey features and volvo is still with Ford, look at their website or youtube page. jaguar and land rover were sold to tata, maybe thats what your thinking of.

SRX has no Backroom space my friend your legs are cramped and there is not enough luxories or upgrades to the mechanics to justify its price. I have owned MKX Elite pre-2011 and also Ford Edge Limited as well. Both are the same exact platform one is the luxory the other is the base. Lincoln is known for their interior and in any vehicle make in the u.s.a I know of there is the base GM Chevy then there is GMC ..... or Chrysler/Dodge, Ford/Lincoln same platforms with upgrades to interior and usually grills and headlights/tailights. Everything is the same bodys typically don't change much between Ford and Lincoln and mercury. B.T.W. Lincoln MKX pre 2011 has the boldness in its class like The Towncar has held and they should never have lengthend them to look like a minivan. *cheers

i love this crossover.. but i hate when the dealers and owners say it has chrome rims, when what is really there is plastic chrome painted hubcaps..
slikdarelic So you mean they're not fully chrome because of the center caps being painted to look like they're chrome?

I think the MKX is an okay luxury SUV, but the Lexus RX is a bit better.
