When the Heart of Ender's face appears in the portal, the subtitles say "To the end" for a millisecond.

The enderman say „to the beginning“ before jumping into the portal, the fact that after the large endermen exit it, heart of ender says „to the end“ really hits hard, the overworld is their end, but in an invasive and hostile way.
@@paracosmx7684 well about that the enderman don't say "to the beginning" the orb does and that seems wrong but in the vengeful heart of ender boss fight you can hear at time's the boss saying to the beginning so it's the orb and when that line is heard in the cutscenes it means that the beginning is there dimensions The End is where they were created and the line "to the end" might have two meanings one is to there home land and the other might mean the end of this story in Minecraft Dungeons the orb knows that this is the beginning of the final fight

So this says a lot of things. What if the Ender people were outcasts of the Overworld and wanted desires to take over the world, and the Orb of Dominance was their most powerful way of doing do. This is evident by the Heart of Ender.

People say Minecraft dungeons is pretty overrated (from what I have heard from some people and my friends who don't play anymore) but this is why I love and continue to solo play this game, it's such a unique way to play 'minecraft'. I also love roguelike gameplay myself so I enjoy this. This game will never die because its community is still alive.

I just love admiring the beauty of The End Dimension in Dungeons
and the biodiversity of Flora (colorful bioluminescent kelp and vines and the chorus plant) and Fauna (most of which are colorful super-powered Endermen and THICC Endermits)

the reason why he looked mad at first when he woke up 0:23 was because the orb of dominance was still taking over archie's mind but when the orb's shards whent out 0:27 archie goes back to normal.

I would actually love to see The End like that in the original game
This is great. It sets up potential for a continued storyline that even if it doesn't officially happen the player can make it on their adventures. Plus it fills a gap between the main game and dungeons. The orb could Appear in the world after the dragon is fought. (Perhaps it was actually part of the dragon hence the nane heart of ender) then when the orb is shattered beasts and biomes a plenty corrupted by the shards appear. But a peice is returned to the void reawaking the heart but in a wekened incomplete state. Endersents would then emerge to protect the realm of the growing heart. Breaking the already complete portal to the end. Its just cool.

yes and no. this is kinda of a spin off but not official.
these ender abominations still have humanoid features, so it doesn't realy break the theory.
Maybe the Enderlings were just normal Endermen corrupted by the Orb of Dominance's shard, which made them look weirder and caused them to develop bizarre mutations.
@@eybaza6018 MatPat’s theories are completely destroyed by Dungeons. Why would the Orb make them smaller and weaker, and make them lose their mouths? The enderlings and endersent were obviously created by the Orb when it was brought to End. And why would chorus fruit make the endermen disintegrate into smoke when they die? (Which is the same thing with the endersent) And the usage of the suffix “ling” seems to imply that the enderlings are younger in some way, which would make sense if they were created after the endermen.
@@sboy2044 Bodies turning into dust is just a visual feature that has nothing to do with the lore, The Orb artificially created the enderlings and the endersent from the endermen. And accordingly to the theory of evolution, it's impossible for a near perfect humanoid body plan to evolve in a dimension that , besides endermites lacks any native fauna. Also there are mentions of an end expedition that ultimately failed in the description of some of the items found in the dlc, like the teleportation robes or The Beggining and The End. Also you don't have to be big to be an effective solider, enderlings are small, but efficient.
Echoing Void dlc doesn't destroy MatPat's theory, it only strengthens it and gives more undeniable evidence to it.
@@eybaza6018 I’m not saying that it’s bad for them to be small, it’s just weird for them to become one block taller, and then one block shorter, and enderlings are still physical weaker than endermen. And why would the devs specifically have the endermen and endersent have a unique death animation, while every other mini-boss becomes a ragdoll. And again, why would endersent lose their mouths for literally no reason?

Anyone else think that the orb shard, the end one being the biggest, has the power to summon forth illagers? But the pig means that the end is probably taking in the dead, to void them into the watchers and endermen and stuff.

@@lucasgoncalves371 if thats the case, the would have only spawned where the player spawned, and the pig would not have spawned then. The cutscene shows illwgers spawning all over the end, looking confused. Also, if they came into the end then why are there not stuck on the spawned island, due to not being able to roll?

In this minecraft.net article describing the End Wilds, it’s mentioned that illagers have entered the End “for their own sinister intentions”. And while they may sort of look like they’re confused, they could just be looking around the area, and most of them are just walking around like nothing is wrong. And they’re leaving behind blue particles when they teleport, probably meaning that they used an end portal or end gateway, since if the Vengeful Heart of Ender teleported them there they would most likely produce purple particles. I can’t really explain the pig being there though.

I feel bad for the arch-illager. All he wanted was a home and friends but the villagers shut him out. Which all led him to find the orb of dominance and start all these shenanigans.
I think this game is a prequel to the base Minecraft game, presenting the backstory of the Illagers, being united by the Arch Illager. In the base game they are kinda weaker without a plan and a proper leader chaotically. This proves that once the leader was gone, some parts of the army still remained, but split into small battalions all by themselves, not able to ever rebuild the empire it once was. The ancient builders, that once controlled the overworld and the nether, travelled to the end, after their empire fell, being attacked by the ancient villagers, that were probably slaves, and the piglins, their sentient pig experiments from the nether. Their world fell and in the end they hunted the dragons to extinction, until they made the last one their protector. The orb of dominance was actually their creation, but what actually led to their downfall, so they had it locked away. In the end they became the primitive endermen and stole it again becoming mutants. In the base game we face remains of both empires and free the ancient builders. We are humans as, some builders remained in the overworld.
Except for the fact that the game have statues that show that The Ender Dragon was finally defeated (Which happens in Vanilla Minecraft), and the book of Minecraft Dungeons reveals that the Illagers were sick of being weak and decided to united together in a great empire. In conclusion.... Minecraft Dungeons is a sequel to base Minecraft.

I have a theory that Minecraft dungeons takes place in the far future of regular Minecraft and the fact that the Enderman speak a better form of english.
in the base game the endermen have a very basic vocabulary like
hey
whats up
and look for the eye
it makes sence for the endermen to speek more fluent English if it is farther in time.
The base game is just "Here's what we have, mess around and have fun" while Dungeons is the game with actual lore/story, it is the same reason why actual MC is a bit...barebones in comparison.
Also I reckon that it was the orb speaking, not the Endermen.
@@voidsenight9927 I agree too. It is simply not possible to make a story outta the Sandbox Minecraft, considering every world is different depending on the seed. If we want a concrete story, Minecraft Dungeons is the canon one.
This also gives me hope that the next update will be the End Update for vanilla MC lol

I've made a theory that the end might be the minecraft afterlife. I mean think about it, pillagers and farm animals spawned into the end after the portal opened, not to mention you encounter iceologers during the game, disqualifying the possibility that fanatic followers of the arch illiger were wanting to take it over.

We really need Redstone Golems in the game. It will help connect Dungeons and the vanilla game, and will add a LOT to the lore of the game meaning that Dungeons took place during the era of the Ancient Builders.
