It's incredible to see such a magnificent video receive 110 thumbs down, and a comment section filled with deniers and conspiracy-theorists. Have you guys not ever taken a hike? A difficult one? Then you'd know how it is possible to reach your destination without a GSP or a device that connects to the internet. Hell, there's plenty of hardcore explorers out there that take even more difficult and unconventional hikes that aren't necessarily marked, or have a trail, and aren't generally explored by the general public. Of course we have to assume he has severe preparation, food, emergency kits, and other type of devices as well as friendly-support in order to reach the destination. News flash: Not everything that is filmed happens EXACTLY how it is filmed. Everything from movies, to ads and documentaries are always edited in order to attract and audience and achieve a cinematic result. This is an immense achievement for an individual. Hats off.
Thank God not everyone believes everything he sees. I am not saying the guy wasnt there. It just seems surreal, his voyage. But why he got permit- while some guys were arrested?
Amazing! Congratulations man! You deserve! This video is beautiful! The best I could do is going to Everest Base Camp. Maybe one day I go to Antarctica 👍🏻
@@thomasdaka9920 90 degrees means that it is 90 degrees latitude separated from the equator, where the equator is 0 degrees. Meaning at the top (or bottom I supposed) of the world; the axis upon which it rotates. It works the same in the Northern hemisphere, where 90 degrees north is the top of the North pole. I think this is the geographic south pole however, the magnetic south pole is in a slightly different spot.
I know it’s a long time since you posted but Matthieu was alone/solo. I have a few friends that have done these similar routes solo before - Baz Gray 2018/19 Hercules inlet to South Pole - Hannah Mckeand 6 times solo to South Pole - Eric Phillips 5 times to South Pole and IPGA guide
Its amazing things to achieve, congrats for you! Maybe you or someone can explain me how he can capture that VR video while He only alone in that journey? I dont know nothing about this, thanks everyone!
this jentle man sad in the bigining of the trip i tolk to people ,en eat good food ,sorry where ? i see only cold and snow . but he is courage man to go to north pole wao !
Absolutely amazing and only 188k views. Seems most people are interested in watching idiot Tik tokers make knobheads out of themselves. Really enjoyed it!!

If you're really alone, did you stop at points to place the camera, walk past it, then move on until the next scene?
NO of course he is not 100 percent alone and how would he know which direction he was going to the so call 90 south pole!
@@ZackWolfMusic why do they call it the 90 south anyway? Is it not the true South pole?

why are there flags there? can someone explain to me?
There are nations/companies that send separate expeditions, they use flags to identify.
Because its all staged, simple.
nations that are part of the Antartic treaty
Who tf is holding the camera
I would love to see a video of someone placing a 1m stake on the ground on Dec 21 and meassure a 2.3m of shade at noon. voila! south pole here I am.
