What does clipping do?

[] These boxes represent the layers!
⬇️[] Clipped layer
[] Layer 1
So on Layer 1 if I draw a circle 🔴 and then on the Clipped layer I try to draw something it will ONLY go in the circle, it can't leave the circle.
Clipping basically makes whatever you draw on the Clipped layer ONLY be able to draw onto whatever layer you clipped it to, so it helps to keep things within the lines, it's like using the magic wand tool in a way. I hope this helps! 💕
