Picked this up from the library 'cause I heard good things, not realizing how thick it is, and it suddenly felt daunting to get through it. But! Your review makes me very excited for it. :)

Dont stop this. Youre doing great and your review really makes a lot of sense. Even if I dont like it i think i would not feel like you hyped it, ill feel like ok! I see whatcha ment. Well done. Ill let ya know what I think.
Just got this book and was looking for some videos that'll help me get out of being intimidated from reading it. So, thanks for the video :) I'm new to high fantasy and this seems like a good place to start based on your review.
There’s a prequel out right now! Also, Samantha Shannon posted on Goodreads that she is releasing (signed on to write) another prequel and that she intends to write a sequel to Priory as well. She said it’ll be a few years though.
I felt the same way about the end especially the final "scene" (I don't want to spoil I hope you know what I mean)- I wish it was written in jist as much detail as the rest oft the scene. I even checked if i had accidentally skipped a page bc it happened so fast. But overall I liked it a lot.

wish this book had been a three books! there was definitely enough of it to spread across a series, and i wanted to spend more time in this world!
