Incredible how witty and good spirited Max is today, even more so than usual. Nice to see that although he is addicted to winning he took the L and is happy for his friend. And he being frozen for 10 secs after seeing how close Perez was to taking him out is just pure comedy.
@@jaguatiricaimediata5305 , Verstappen took it like a champ😂 Loved to see him congratulating Norris. Seeing him being congratulated by everyone was wholesome. As a Verstappen fan, I couldn't be happier. Absolutely a mesmerizing performance from Norris and Mclaren. Hope they can keep this up and deliver more of these races.

@@nollienick1121 I really happy about this victory, and it wouldn't be possible if Max were as dominant as he was in China. But I'm afraid that, given he had 11 seconds advantage before the safety car, and given that no Matter how fast Norris was, he wouldn't be able to overtake some cars AND overtake Max without the safety car, I'm not so sure the competition is there yet.
In a way it's similar to Max first win in 2016. Yes he won, it was simply outstanding, but did it mean the Mercedes finally got competition? Nope, only that he was the first to take the opportunity. That perfectly timed safety car was for Lando what Hamilton and Rosberg crashing the Mercs was for Max. I'm not talking about the merit of the win, a win is a win and both Max and Norris NAILED the opportunity that presented to them. But like Norris said, he didn't overtake anyone in this race, so I'm afraid that we will go back to the normal scheduling next race :O

@@nuckels188 he prefers hard and fair battles over setting off in the distance and having the rest of the field finishing two business days later. He just didn't like being crashed into by the Mercedes multiple times.

Hearing these guys talking to one another is the best part of the post-race coverage. So much better than hearing each driver asked, "how are you feeling" by a dozen different journalists.
I agree. Yet time and time again the TV coverage switches to a shot of the crowd or something. Like we'd rather see a generic shot of the crowd than see the drivers actually talking to each other.
Yeah and also have to think though they probably sensor themselves a lot during these reactions also due to being recorded, like Leclerc holding back from what he was going to say about Kmag. Having no filters would be very entertaining haha

@@night756 logically yes because Lando did not pit yet before the safety car while max already pitted. so when norris went to pit max would take back the first place. but the safety car save Lando a lot of time for pit and get him to be first even after the pit.

Bottas can even get the Merc seat for 1/2 years since they don't have much options tbh and then Zhou at Haas would be good, Zhou is mid but a safe driver that stays out of trouble and now would have some good 3 seasons of experience to helped out Ollie @@balajiv8085

When we first saw Magnussen I genuinely thought he’d be one for the future. A future champ. His first ever race he finished second then after that absolutely nothing 😢

They were nearly all blue back in the '60's.
KMag is one of those guys that doesn't seem to learn, he's overly aggressive and often costs himself places. I don't mind aggressive driving, but you need to be smart and fast. Max had the same problem initially, as do many drivers when they first come in to F1, but he learned the lesson, KMag still hasn't.
Very happy for Lando, great guy, great result for him and team.
Disappointed about what happened with Oscar, but I'm not going to blame him or Carlos, they were racing hard and sometimes those things happen. Still, Oscar has a lot to be happy about, he had a great race to that point and took the opportunities he had at the start, held P2 for over half the race, and did it without the full upgrade package. He has plenty to look forward to.

he know what he’s doing, he’s driving like that on purpose and could drive more safely if he wanted to. my guess is he already knows his contract isn’t getting renewed with Haas for next year so he’s going out with a bang or he doesn’t want to continue next year so he’s making sure his driving means nobody will want him. he has a kid so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s ready to slow down and spend more time with his family

When you have kids "slowing down" and "spending time" is not a to do list, priority is to "make a lot of money to make sure your kid(s) have good upbringing". He doesn't seem to be someone who's making a lot of cake, so he can't presumably retire already - like Vettel who did exactly that, made a siht ton of money, and "slowed down to spend time with family".

That Checo divebomb in turn 1 should have been a 5 or 10s penalty. It was a bloody miracle that it didn't cause a colission and it frustrated the start of other drivers, because they had to take evasive aftions. That was reckless driving 100%.
