Fun Fact: Where did bunkers come from? The land used to play links golf on was also used for grazing sheep. Due to the constant winds coming off the ocean, the sheep would dig into the sides of berms for protection. Over time, sand made it's way to the surface and the sand trap was born!
Bubbie after his very first shot: This ball only goes straight. I need to remember that. Bubbie before every shot after that: I'm going to play a draw. 🤣
Great video! A couple of fun facts: Old Tom Morris won four majors (Open Championship 1861, 1862, 1864, 1867). Old Tom's 13 shot lead in 1862 Open Championship set a record for margin of victory that stood until 2000 when Tiger Woods won the US Open by 15 strokes. Old Tom Morris's son, conveniently named Young Tom Morris, won four majors as well (Open Championship 1868, 1869, 1870, and 1872). By all accounts, Old Tom DID NOT drink alcohol or use tobacco while training for tournament play, and he advised younger golfers to do the same. Brad's performance using a feathery would have made Old Tom proud. However, Brad's slanderous comments would have likely incurred Old Tom's ire. Garrett's JH Taylor call out was excellent. Love the historical challenges, fellas!

Fun fact about golf. It was invented during the Battle of Greenfields when Bandobras Took charged at the goblins and knocked off the head of king Golfimbul. The head flew through the air for 100 yards and went down a rabbit hole.
Overbrook is located in Villanova, PA. It was founded in 1900 and is still in operation today. It was built on 93 acres leased from Greenhill Farms Plantation.
Would love to see you guys do a Balata Ball challenge from the 80's-90's.... Titleist had the 100 compression Balata, Royal Maxfli Balata were also popular. I am sure there are other brands, but here in Australia these were the 2 dominant brands in both Pennant and Professional golf. The amount of spin these balls generated from any lie was ridiculous - and from the fairway you could basically "pull the cord" as the saying go's and make the ball spin the length of the green if necessary... Brad, Garrett and possibly Matt and Bubbie will struggle controlling the spin as it spins so much, but Steve and Kendrick and Sploosh will find it so much fun stopping the ball so easily. They wont like how short the balls go when you mishit a 100 Compression Balata ball. They will also be surprised at how soft the balls actually are and a bladed wedge will more than likely slice the ball open. If the guys absolutely crush their drives - they will also likely flat side the ball or put it out of shape.... be fun to watch - around the tribute St.Andrews course when the greens are decent.

Fun fact: The term "bogey" in golf refers to a score of one over par. The term comes from the song "The Bogey Man", which was popular in the British Isles in the early 1890s. The song is about an elusive character who hides in the shadows, saying "I'm the Bogey Man, catch me if you can". Golfers began to equate the idea of matching or beating a hole's ground score with chasing the bogey man, and the imaginary character “Colonel Bogey” came into being.
*Fun Fact:* If you counted wins for Tiger Woods using the criteria they use to count Sam Snead’s 82 wins, Tiger Woods would have 95 wins. • 1 of Snead’s wins was an 18 hole tournament. • 3 of them were only 36 holes. • 5 of them were against 16 or fewer opponents.

Brad should dress up like old Tom Morris, beard and all and Garret should go up to guys on the range and ask them if they want to go against him and his grandpa 😂
Fun fact: Grover Cleveland Golf Course in Buffalo, NY held the US open in 1912. The 10th hole was a 606 yard par 6 and the 17th hole was a 540 yard par 5.
Fun fact: that's incorrect. It used to have 11 holes which were played going out and going back so a total of 22. Then since some holes were too short, holes were combined for a total of 9, when played going in and outward makes 18 :)
Brad has been a great addition. He's always game for challenges and dressing up, and he plays into it. Heal up Scharf you were playing some good golf.

No one cares
Still less majors than Nicklaus.
Just watched the special " Michael Block , miracle in May " . You guys should be so pleased , in the final segment of the special , Michael is walking his dog & wearing a light blue Good Good hoodie. How great is that !!!

Fun fact: Grover Cleveland Golf Course in Buffalo, NY held the US open in 1912. The 10th hole was a 606 yard par 6 and the 17th hole was a 540 yard par 5.
Fun Fact: Golf course were originally 22 holes but they ran out of scotch on hole 18 and decided to quit
False
Fun fact: that's incorrect. It used to have 11 holes which were played going out and going back so a total of 22. Then since some holes were too short, holes were combined for a total of 9, when played going in and outward makes 18 :)
The Tribute!! That used to be where I worked. I played there all the time to boot. An absolute gem!
Old Tom Morris Like Button----->
