Regarding bots, I've heard a lot of streamers talk about farming bots. It seems like bots just look at who's winning each turn. Against a bot, you want to snap on turns where you're losing. If you snap on turns where you're ahead, they may retreat. They can also retreat on the last turn. If you really want to get the most cubes out of a bot, it helps to be behind going into turn 6. Tips on recognizing a bot (these may become outdated as SD improves bots to make them harder to recognize): -they have a title and avatar -their avatar will usually be from the base art (not sure about this one) -they won't have an infinite border -they may use a lot of variants -they won't emote -if they snap, they usually do it right at the start of turn -if you snap and then end turn against a human player, the game will give them a few seconds to decide if they want to retreat, so if the turn immediately goes through after you snap, then you're facing a bot -their names fall into one of the following categories: a human name (e.g. Leonardo), a name made from two words (e.g. Abundant Bear), a Marvel character (e.g. Cyclops), a machine learning name (looks like a random combination of letters), or a name taken from a real player. I've heard that the machine learning bots are smarter and some people think they can see your hand and even see your plays before they happen. The rest of the bots are dumber, often make nonsensical plays (like playing into Murder World on turn 3), and only look at who's winning each turn. These dumber bots are the ones you should try to farm.
Regis i have a dilema. Last season was my first one and i made it to infinite free to play around 6,700 sp. but now i feel like it was luck and i dont feel like im a good player. Its almost a week into the new season and im still only rank 78, and frankly i dont FEEL like one of the highest rank players in the game at all, even though i technically am. So would you mind if i submitted for your series about improving where you look at a fan game?
I just randomly got the Agatha Harkness chibi variant, which I love, so was looking for a deck I could play Agatha in and found this and it's actually working??? 😂 At least won the first 3 games I've played with it (I'm CL 2171, rank 70.) Hilarious!
I got the replace decks with 10 random cards off a scarlet witch like turn 4 or 5, drew agatha on turn 6, and she proceeded to play herself into the only lane that lost me the game

Iceman hitting the one card you’re looking at is almost as guaranteed as Dr Octopus pulling Shang Chi.

As someone who doesn’t follow Snap, seeing complaints about bot games in the intro when playing an automated deck is funny.
I didn’t see it as a complaint about bots as much of a disclaimer that some of the decks wins were against bots but it had success against people too.

I recommend u try it. Easy to get into, getting better over time, great dev response. Definitely has its cons but it’s great

In my first game trying out this deck was District X...where I received a second Agatha
I just played this one time in gold conquest it’s amazing.
The bot retreated going into turn 6. Even tho there was limbo, they are still cautious because people can remove it.

Agatha decks are some of my favorite for Proving Grounds. No stakes, low effort.
If it looks like they're going to lose on Turn 6(Limbo or not), they retreat. :P
