I've never had to vote in a presidential primary where Bernie wasn't one of the choices. Is this what life is like?
Bernie 2024
To be fair he would be a lot older
@@Commandosoap777 Barely older than Biden and not much older than Trump.
@Andrew: Pretty much. For an example from recent history, the lineup in 2008 was pretty depressing. We on the left suspected Obama was a phony, ditto Edwards; Dodd was Mr. Establishment; and I need not comment on Hillary and Biden. Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel were the only two decent ones in the race, and the mainstream media did such an effective job at smearing them both as total kooks that they never had a prayer.
I am German and id do messaging for Bernie again, even if its his rotting corps.
Only chance for our planet.
Chris is so funny bc he's CNN's attempt at new media.
If by funny you mean pathetic and uninformed, yes.
@@samhhaincat2703 obviously
Why does he make his videos as if it's 2009 UA-cam? Is this what CNN thinks we all watch?
Ciliza always acts as though he’s trying to persuade a 9th grade political science class that he’s hip. And failing.
🤣
Rachel Maddow talks the same way. Super annoying.
He reminds me of the meme that has the old guy wearing baggy pants and a skateboard saying "What's up fellow youths?"
I think that's exactly what he's trying to do. Trying to look as "hip" as possible to appeal to the roughly two young people that still take CNN seriously.
@@JohnSmith-nj9qo That’s Steve Buscemi as a PI in “30 Rock” getting dirt on a teenage girl
He DID say that she was currently polling at 28%, it's just that he brushed it off as if it was not a problem.
In Chris Cillizza's defense (ugh) that approval rating isn't really important in a Democratic primary. We saw in 2020 how Democratic primary voters will do whatever CNN talking heads like Cillizza tell them to do. Assuming the establishment consolidates behind VP Harris, primary voters will do as they're told and vote for her. 28 percent approval rating, 8 percent approval rating, it doesn't matter. Most primary voters probably won't even know her approval rating and they'll be the entirety of the 28 percent who approve of her anyway.
My pastor and I were in the steam room discussing politics and we agreed this class of potential 2024 candidates fcukin suck
@@kjhuang Good point but who cares whether or not you'll win a primary when you have no chance of winning the general.
@@kjhuang True, low info voters and CNN/MSNBC watchers (mostly older voters) will vote for whoever the media pumps - very few of them would actually consider Kamala's chances to win the general election. The Democratic establishment would rather lose with her than win with someone more progressive.
@@leftyguitarist8989 This segment was talking about the Democratic primary only. I don't think Chris Cillizza ever claimed that Kamala Harris has a good chance of winning the general.
If Bernie was 100 and can choose his own cabinet is the only way I'll vote Democrat
Only if Bernie grows at least a single vertebrate.
@@SamuraiKage-iv3ow that's not fair. He just needs to read more Lenin.
very cool. Go vote for the People's party, which has superdelegates :D.
@@veitdalee4810 what a terrible system
@@veitdalee4810 I wouldnt still. Democrats are liars because it's in their class interests.
Imagine citing Terry McAullife as a reason for any of the candidates being a potential frontrunner to win the primary
"I could beat these people with two of my brain cells"
Do it Kyle. Run that shit. I'll move my family out to NY so we can canvas for you
Can we all agree to write in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for President and speed us up on the road to Idiocracy? At least we might get to see him give Mitch McConnell a Spinebuster in the Oval Office, after calling him a jabroni.
The rocks to civilized to act like Camacho
The same rock that endorsed geriatric patient Biden? Nah I'm good.
I don't know enough about The Rock's politics to know if he's dumb..
But I suspect he's not the most qualified if I ever heard about him attending University (which is also throwing myself under the bus)
@@anthonypeasley7604 went to the University of Miami
The Rock is a moderate conservative. He would just be Obama.
This was one of the best rants I've seen Kyle go on in a while.
LOL HE DOES THESE RANTS EVERYDAY... I usually have to turn the volume down his voice gets pitchy lol
I cant believe people still think CNN and MSNBC is left media smh
The political scene has to be cleaned up. Remove all corrupt. 👍
Keep up the fight, kyle!
OMG I literally busted out laughing at the Pete Buttigieg "Most naturally talented candidate in the 2020 primary".
Also Cillizza blocked me on Twitter like 4 years ago cuz I constantly mocked his bad takes.
you deserve so much more kyle..hope YT changes it ways soon
It’s not in their economic best interests, and that’s what matters most. This, which we can thank capitalism and libertarianism for, is why we can’t have nice things.
this is my favorite version of Kyle. hilariously and unabashedly indignant in the face of unfounded conventional wisdom from hopelessly out of touch elites.
Amy Klobuchar came out the best..? I haven't heard of her since Febuary of 2020. I actually forgot about her until watching this
That was so painful to watch? Why would you put me through that!!!
Kamala Harris: Barely above water with blacks and blacks only
CNN Clown: "ShE's PoLlInG sO wElL wItH bLaCkS!"
"Pete is the most naturally Obama cadence sounding politician in this race"
Wow. It's like a focus group for what consent they're going to manufacture
Pretty much. Basically a who's who of candidates there going to shove down our throats come 2024 or 2028.
@@sorzin2289 I voted LaRiva. It was a good platform and i feel good about my vote.
When I used to have autoplay on, without fail UA-cam would not hesitate to roll a CNN video after a Secular Talk video.
Phil Murphy is the only one that I would consider.
Yeah, he came from Goldman Sachs, but his record as governor is pretty solid. He refused to cut public pensions and proposed a state-run bank.
Here is my comment for the algorithm. I like Kyle fired up. ✌️
The door mat of the right, good ol' Chris!! The guy is doing a favor to any candidate of the RNC.
Kyle Kulinski: "I'm fighting for my life out here!"
This is the analysis that I would expect from someone who only reads headlines (not articles) on their browser homepage.
You're the best Kyle!
the only viable choices from the Biden Cabinet would be Deb Haaland & Marcia Fudge
Thanks!
Good stuff Kyle
Good video Kyle
(6:28) Bernie didn't pule very well with older Southern blacks.🤣
Commenting for algo purposes... I get that Google wants to protect ad revenue by keeping the "safe" media companies at the top but that's not how UA-cam became UA-cam.
He's not wrong. Those are the most likely losers for the party to support.
Pain
I busted out laughing when he said "Mitch Landrew's family doesn't even know who Mitch Landrew is"
I love when you go off Kyle lol
Forget 2024, let's put our energy into 2022
Honestly, Pritzker wouldn't be all too bad. He's in between Biden and Bernie. Yeah he's a billionaire, but most of his money is from an industry that doesn't profit off of human misery. He did some shady stuff with his property taxes, but out of all those candidates he seems the least bad. Also, ILLINOIS WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I like Pritzker as an Illinoisan. I am a Bernie guy and love progressive policy ideas, and Pritzker has done things like legalized weed recreationally and completely legalized abortion, alongside other things like infrastructure investments and whatnot. I consider him one of the relatively good billionaire politicans.
@@franklance9167 Yeah, a big part of it is that most of his money is from an inherited family business, so he’s not super passionate about it, and that business is hotels. He could give a shit if anything happens to healthcare or the military industrial complex, there really aren’t any policies that change hotel profits.
Let's not support both parties and start our own with our priorities!
Just imagine how hard it must be for someone who has only recently started(less than 3 years ago). If Kyle who has had a chance to get established first, what about Nikko House?!?! How do you think he feels?
“Mitch Landru…. Mitch Landrus family doesn’t even know who Mitch Landru is” lol 😂
Oh Kyle, I could see Pete B winning the Democratic Nomination in 2024 🇺🇸
Love you Kyle
Mean while somebody is getting fired at a McDonalds for forgetting to put no cheese on someones quarter pounder.
Sigh. CNN's Greg Gutfield feels compelled to share his horrible and stupid opinions again.
Wish they'd flush out the demos for Kamala's favor among "black" voters.
It's so weird how much racial polling is done in America
Everytime Chris Cillizza talks I die inside
Those corporate attempts at humour...
Please make it stop!
WHO WATCHES THAT CRAP?!?
If Kyle could do it without eating the barrel of a gun afterwards, Kyle should do a segment like this guy for April 1st next year.
Lmao
My friend is close to pollster Frank Luntz and in January 2019 Luntz said the next president was going to be Mitch Landrieu. lmao they don’t know it all
I’m a Minnesotan and Amy Klobuchar honestly bores me 🥱 our politicians tend not to be the most interesting bunch, but she takes it to a new level.
Keep up the fight Kyle, we need to get UA-cam to make it a meritocracy again.
A random person off the street would be more qualified than Ciliza.
Michelle Wu the Mayoress for Boston is a good pick in my view
Actually, Gore only lost Tennessee by 4% in 2000
@Craig Bowers it was also a little bit of cherry-picking on his part, as Clinton won his home state of Arkansas just 4 years earlier, and also won Tennessee with Gore as VP
Several months ago, I wrote a caustic comment about Kyle's far-left biased views, and he says many things I continuously disagree with. Still, I am subscribed because it's essential to have an open mind about opinions. When it comes to Kyle's viewpoints, they are, at least for me, in the very literal sense, the exact opposite from mine, chiefly cultural opinions. So, I can't say I have encountered one belief of Kyle's I can say I agree with. His commentary on left-wing economics is growing on me because of the reasonableness and nuance in Kyle's argument. I did mention in my previous comment roughly the fundamental virtue of open-mindedness. I've been subscribed ever since and tune in for every episode I can.
For starters, do you think trickle-down economics work. Kyle and history say it doesn't. If you don't agree, you can say so, but it would be provable wrong.
@@renekostolnik5709 Simple answer yes, it works. I don't know why you pointed to history, thinking it would back up your claim. Kyle certainly would have expert knowledge and opinion. Still, historians do say otherwise. Trickle-down economics or Reaganomics are actually tropes that opposers use to describe the economic policy promoted by Reagan to curb inflation and end the recession of the '80s bringing on an era of economic growth well past Reagan's presidency. Trickle-down economics was not the only reason for recovery, though. You left your question open to interpretation, so if the question is, did Reaganomics work, the answer is, again, hell yes. If the question is, does it work today, the answer is yes, it does, but that doesn't mean it's flawless.
Should the government play a role in regulating big business, wages, and prosperity? Yes. Kyle and left-wing economic ideology would like to redistribute the wealth, increase taxes on the rich, and empower big-government to build welfare programs. I think anyone with half a brain understands that businesses that supply the jobs don't appreciate tax walls, after-tax walls, fees, or paying higher wages. Look at California's business exodus; doing business is better in Texas for companies, and they take the jobs with them and innovations that supply new industries. We observe many of the good and bad effects of trickle-down economics today, which is the point I am trying to make; please make that your primary focus. However, the bad is being addressed by voters, some states like California, federal legislators, unions, and regular people like you and I, but to deny Trickle-down economic's "work" as you put it, would be denying the truth, but if our focus is, would the original policies work perfectly for today's world then no. I think people who don't understand conservative viewpoints would try and fabricate the lie that we wouldn't like the government to regulate wages; that's a lie.
Do we believe government should regulate big business? (Amazon, Google, Pharma) Yes. But small businesses find it harder to sustain themselves when 15$ an hour is the minimum wage for one on that. Absurd Taxing for big companies like Tesla, HP, Toyota, and 1800 others have led to their departure from California. I think California will realize they need to make it easier to do business. That doesn't mean I don't believe in higher-paying jobs, especially if it's coming from big business. I don't believe in increasing welfare programs; they just don't work for a significant portion of individuals enrolled in welfare; they just exacerbate the problem by many accounts. Plus, the government is the biggest monopoly and misuse funds, sure increase the taxes on the rich. Where does that money go? The government. What does the government do with that money? You will probably list a bunch of things, but before you do, don't contradict yourself. The government is the biggest monopoly Kyle would attest to that.
@@Edward-hb9qb kyle said hes in favor of workers owning shares in the company and basically democratizing the workplace. which means the companies wont leave, as the workers wouldnt let them. in countries that kyle says are ideal, they have high taxes but the companies didnt leave. instead due to strong union laws, workers and businesses both get along just fine.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 About workers owning shares in the company and democratizing the workplace, Kyle also says, that's never going to happen. It's also a stupid idea. If high taxes drive companies from high taxing states to low taxing states, imagine what they would do if shares were suddenly split between workers; they would move countries son. Have you been paying attention to the news? Kellogs ring a bell? My main point is that it's not a reality, nor will it ever be, at least not on a large scale in the U.S. I am aware some companies operate in the U.S. and offer that option, but that is a power that should continue to be held by the private sector, or else that's communism.

You should do your own list of predictions, I bet it will be 10x better and then we can look back and compare the two later
I get all my political views from "The View".
J.B. Pritzker is based. He legalized weed recreationally and completely legalized abortion among other things. He is one of the good billionaire politicians.
They really liked the idea of alternative facts i see
It was as text at 1:05 on screen that KH polled at 28%, re: your comment at 6:00. Correct?
Excellent breakdown, Kyle. Birdbrain's breakdown was based solely on perceptions manufactured entirely within elite circles. They'll keep repeating it for the next few years, and eventually, everyone will fall in line "AGAIN." Well, everyone except you and I, Kyle.
Well, if it comes down to a democratic primary, those primary voters will reliably pick the dumbest choice in overwhelming numbers, so that's a pretty good list. (Added bonus: they'll use "electability" as the sole reason for picking the least electable person.)
Surprised he didn’t try to suggest Gavin Newsom
He literally just read off the Wikipedia page for the 2024 Presidential election for the first half
Cilliza is a perfect example of style over substance. He can deliver information clearly, simply and quickly but unfortunately it's rock dumb information that should not be conveyed to anyone.
Yea, either him or Gutfeld are the worst MSM pundits. Not only do they have horrible takes on everything but the pathetic attempt of comedy on top of their abysmal tripe makes them more cringey than even Carlson or Ingraham.
I can’t put into words how much this guy pisses me off
He did mention the 28% polling for about a second at the beginning, but ignored it, from how i see it.
I love watching his videos and pointing out his flaw logic.
Zealous Kyle ❓
He is a great CNN commentator
Everyone agreeing, paste this link on Chris's Cilliza's video.
