Lucius’ song “Hey, Doreen” is a murder ballad inspired by Hitchcock-style filmography, telling the story of a woman who commits a crime and attempts to flee the scene. The 2013 single, off the album Wildewoman, shows an unusual twist on the serial killers in horror films, this time also representing a form of empowerment for women. - Alwaleed Alshoura
