My eyes naturally change color depending on the lighting, in dark places they can be a brown sometime, and in light places they can be a blue or goldish color.

I was told my whole life I had blue eyes, but I never thought they looked blue. This video introduced me to grey eyes, so I finally know what color my eyes are!
My eyes allow me to see in the dark and they change colors depending on me thinking really weird thoughts like walking past a bunch of dead bushes to get blasted in the eyes from a 1980 halogen light or they change when ever they want to.

You may wanna do some research and see if you actually DO because last I checked black eyes DON'T exist. That's only what I've been told, I could be very wrong (as a grey eyed person constantly told my eye color doesn't exist I won't be annoying and say yours doesn't just check maybe)
Yep, black eyes don't exist. Mine looks like black, but in actuality it's dark brown. If you watch your eyes with light, you can see the color of your eye (typically dark brown).

It might look you have black eyes, because some people have more melanin in their eyes than others, and it might look black in different lighting conditions, when it's actually really DARK BROWN.

Ok so for me I thought that i had gray eyes, but it just turns out that blue eyes are just generally more muted in color than i thought and humans label things as brighter colors than they are (i.e. calling orangish-brown hair red)
ACTUAL gray eyes have even less pigmentation than blue eyes and have faint brown or gold spots. And they are very, very rare.
