Sorry but these people in these comments are ridiculous... Really he put relaxer in his hair. Just because your mom burnt off your edges when you were little doesn't mean you have to be as salty as McDonald's French fries
I honestly thought this was cute. I don't see anything wrong with it. He had curly hair and he wants it straight... so what? SMH some people cant be pleased
I know this video was posted a few years ago, but if you’re still relaxing your hair be sure to only touch up your new growth during follow up treatments. In other words, if it’s your 1st time relaxing your hair, apply the relaxer from roots throughout the ends (in that order), then rinse, shampoo and deep condition hair. When 2-3 inches of new growth come in 1-3 months later, only apply the relaxer to that area. The mid shaft and ends of your hair will already be straight from the 1st relaxer so to avoid hair damage and breakage, be sure to only relax the new growth. Sincerely, a 20yr cosmetologist 🤗
Well he’s a guy so I I’m sure he gets his hair trimmed frequently so even if it gets on the ends it wouldn’t matter because it’s always gonna have new growth with stronger fibers growing out after each relaxer
Hey shena, i want to to know how to take care of my hair can you help!? How to clean when to clean what oils to use and so forth. Please let me know how i can reach out to you conveniently
@Marissa Lopes Hi Marissa, for people who have curly hair, it's very easy to not go over the 'line of demarcation' because the new growth that grows in (e.g. 2 inches) will be curly whereas the hair that was previously relaxed will still be straight. Once hair has been permanently relaxed (straightened), that is the person's new hair texture. Only new growth will grow out with the person's DNA texture. I hope this provided you with clarity.
@@wisdomntruth6085 Hi Kenny, in order to assist you with caring for your hair, what hair texture do you have? Straight, Curly, Wavy, Kinky, etc.? Is it dry, oily, thin, straight, etc.? As a cosmetologist of 20 years I've worked with all hair textures.
@@Rasheens-Story True, however if someone continues relaxing over relaxed hair, the cuticles will become weaker can break off.
wtf is wrong with all these people on the comment section? it's a fucking hair relaxer and on the container it DOESN'T write "ONLY FOR BLACK PEOPLE" it's a fucking hair product, not a race product lol.
Shaya Kells ...someone said the words "white boy" and implied he'd have "good hair. What else would that mean? Use your head for once and not whats blatantly given.
I would not advise anybody to use no matter what race you are. Your hair will never be the same
Shiann Tolliver I wouldn't say damaged if you can keep it at a healthy balance of usage, or if you plan on wanting it perm
First time I've seen a white person relax their hair, you actually didn't do a bad job.
Word of advice, get yourself 2 types of combs. You're going to need an Afro comb and a rat tail comb. The Afro comb is to part your hair and evenly distribute the product. the rat tail is to comb your hair after you've left the relaxer on for a couple of minutes - maybe 3/4 way of your allotted time. Comb out the product, then reapply whatever is on the comb back on the hair.
Get (or make your own)hair treatment, especially one that is full of protein and natural oils as this will prevent your hair from feeling a bit like straw.
Line your scalp with Vaseline, it'll create a small barrier between your scalp and the relaxer. It helps with burning.
Hope this helps.
You mean the other way round the Rat tail comb for parting and the the afro comb for combing through your hair..
Vivian Ogunniyi I usually use a rat tail to comb because it gets rid of all the hair that was weakened/destroyed during the process of relaxing. The thin bristles also help me know if my hair is done "cooking" 😂. I'm not knocking the use of an afro comb please don't get me wrong, it just doesn't work for me. 😊
Gotcha,I thought you meant the other way round because I have natural hair and a rat tail comb would quite literally rip the hair off my head.
I'm a redhead and am about as white as they come. I too, have natural hair that looks just like this guy! I've been purchasing relaxers intended for black hair for years, as they are the only thing that work to control the madness, frankly. Relaxers are my secret weapon! Now the secret is out...White people relax, too!
He's adorable but in America as you can see by the comments we're having racial issues at the moment. Sorry.
LosAngeles323 ikr, so sad. Unfortunately things usually get worse before they get better.
Lavar Ball No we never have problems with race its just this year that's all. It's going to get better.
Catherine Rodriguez that's a lie you guys have always been the most racist place on the planet
As a Licensed Cosmetologist I see nothing wrong! Do you boo! As he said it's for the hair... and as those of us with sense know that you can be of any "race" and have any texture hair just as you can have any eye color as well as any skin tone! Which its apparent that he has a curly 3a 3b texture on this video. However as a professional I would suggest with him doing it himself, that he be sure and use a mild relaxer and be sure to deep condition his hair once a week for at least 20 minutes with heat. #itsyourthang
Sunshine Dei hey! I have hair kinda similar to his... I would let it be natural if the top layer wasn’t a shit show lol it won’t curl worth anything anymore so it comes out just looking like I got electrocuted. After pregnancy and a bad hair dresser it’s just kind of a disappointment. I want to maybe relax the curls.. my mother used this product on me when I was young. Would you recommend this again or something else? I’m scared of any damage!
Is this product safe for use if used properly? I have pretty wavy/curly hair that i want to make a little less curly and a little straighter but still have some wave to it when i want. Will this product cause hair loss or damage?
Awww your hair was cute!!!!! But the relaxer came out good. It's probably cheaper now because a lot of people aren't using it as much as they used to.
Yes - I love my curly crown also! The most unique and versatile hair texture in the Universe can be molded into any shape or style haha
you're such a cute guy and the straight hair is cute but I think your natural hair is super awesome!
+Laronic yeah I guess you're right. being an African American woman I have no clue about dealing with unruly hair😒
+Chayne Cotharn My curls are so close together that I can't separate my hair. It sucks so much, I would do anything to have straight hair.
My mind is being blown reading this comment section. This kid is relaxing his hair and there are people in the comment section who have no clue what a relaxer is. Man...I was relaxed for 19 years and went natural a few years back. Perms, relaxers, creamy crack. Geez Louise.
Ctfu I was literally thinking of the same thing. Lol just watching it was intriguing lol
Lol right!. I'm just so confused. Perms are such a big thing in our community and have been for years so seeing it being used on someone who isn't a Black female is eye opening.
I relaxed my White friends hair for her back in 1988! Came out PERFECTLY. She wanted bone straight hair, hers was wavy, she was very happy with the results. Also your hair looks GREAT!
After a couple of years, he'll join the natural hair movement lmfao. loved the video, very cool to see someone different using the product
Lmao not sure how this ended up in my recommendations. But when I saw a white boy holding that perm box I clicked so fast
Tell your mom I love her kitchen. It's so open and beautiful.
I'm her mommy, although I'm a hermaphroditic being and a father in another family. Thanks!
I see no hate comments. All I see are comments about hate comments that don't exist. Y'all lowkey feel some type of way.
Why do people write stupid ass comments like this? The guy in the video even said something about the hate comments, they're obviously here, you just can't see them anymore.
Frank Murphy how can he talk about hate comments under this video in this video?
I hate it when they do cause it seems like he's getting more hate than he is
True Aries Skrrrrrrrrrrrrt. I never said hate comments weren't in under this vid. There's hate comments under literally every UA-cam vid. I clearly said I didn't see any. Which I would assume if I'm scrolling down these mfs and don't see a single one that other people aren't seeing anymore than 3 at the max which isn't enough to make a comment about hate comments. Under this video yes a hate comment is like a damn pot of mf gold.
Alright, imma be honest... imma be real for a sec. when i saw the thumbnail, i right away thought “ oh lord what is this white boy doing “ .... lmao but it turned out cute and the whole process what cute. Much love from a black girl xoxo
Not meant as hate, but why the need to point out anyone's race? How is that even relevant?
Ahahaha same. I got clickbaited from the thumbnail showing the box, i was immediatly curious to how it would turn out
I remember watching this two years ago when I was sick of my frizzy and curly hair, I couldn’t find anyone with hair similar to mine, being half black/half white and yours is uniquely the exact same as mine. This was the perfect video at the time, you should do more styling vids because of your unique hair.
I'm also half white half black & struggling with my hair.. So did u tried this product?
adil alduree yeah I did it a day after watching this video and it turned out the same, it just makes your hair dry and gives it a distinct smell for the first few days. Although you can use pomade or as weird as it sounds lotion helps keep it moisturized.
@@R3D_89 best tip just let it be and get a buzz cut and let it grow naturally and just moisturize it
@@tonynasaofficial
Yeah I think I go with that since my front part of my hair is not even even. Like I cut it a few. Months ago and 1 hair is 3cm bigger than the other
IN FUCKING SCREAMING IM HAVING FLASHBACKS TO WHEN I HAD MY HEAID DONE WITH THIS WHEN I WAS 8 😂😂😂😂💀
I literally liked your comment cuz I agree and you have the queen CL as your pic!
any blk girls watching like he finna put a perm in his hair lmao he cute
yeesss!!!i saw the perm box n i knew i had to watch it.with his adorable self
When I was in cosmetology school we relaxed all kinky to curly or Coily hair textures . Hair texture doesn’t have a race attached to it . I’ve seen kinkier hair from different parts of the world and relaxed a few that I was taught to use a“super” relaxer on (the hair is more resistant to straightening ).Real stylist know that relaxer is not only for “black “ hair. It’s to relax curls regardless of the person’s complexion .
I wonder why some people in this comment section don’t know what a relaxer is 🤔
Maria Kamara I didnt know either until a few weeks ago, I am just white af and don't use any more stuff on my hair than shampoo, conditioner and masks 🙈 but the more I know, the better ❤
Because when we search what a relaxer is this is the video that pops up lol
he aint vaseline his edges and ears or nothing jesus! #aintnobodygottimefordat
y'all need to chill in these comments; let him relax his hair; focus on relaxing your goddamn attitudes
The best thing about this video is that home boy is having the last laugh. All your interest and 'interaction' (i.e. 6k+ comments) just netted him $2,000 and possibly a modelling gig with ORS relaxer as their new white male ambassador. See he just filled two quotas lol. DO you boo !!!
he followed the directions. He knew how strong and dangerous it could be. And he relaxed thick curly hair instead of weak hair and it came out alright. Theres nothing wrong with this video but i think his hair was fine before
Very few light skinned people have curly hair like his. I think it makes him unique in a good way.
Miscellaneous Videos what the f are you talking about? that couldn't be farther from the truth. many white people have very thick curly hair. i.e. irish people, italian, greek and more and more
I thought it was click bait looooool, but you do you boo 😊
Yeah I was wondering why he didn't just go to a beauty supply store hell most big box pharmacies and of course Walmart sells them, I wonder what the shipping and handling cost was.
I love that all of the comments are about how adorable he is.. I can confirm
I have type 3 hair im chillin watchin curly hair routines and i saw that box being held by him and had to click 😂😂
LOL I was like wth is this dude doing with a relaxer -_- HAD TO WATCH
I'm not seeing any angry comments about you relaxing your hair, only white ppl assuming that black ppl are mad??? 🤷🏾♀️ ANYWAYS, You look mad cute either way babe.
Honor Martin there are ones but are not easy to find cause they have a lot of dislikes and less likes but got lots of comments just look hard enough
The negative comments used to be here, but I think they got less popular after her made his video adressing all the hate comments, and most people are thumbing up the positive comments now.
And when you said you mostly see "White people" saying Blacks are offended, I have not seen any Whites doing that. Most of the comments I see are from Black women calling out the offended Blacks, or just Black women calling him cute.
A lil tip. When ur hair starting to grow it going to grown the way your natural hair looks so I wanna make sure when it grow u apply some of the perm the new growth only. Ps I like ur hair
hi, can i keep the leftover perm for the next use or should i buy a new package? i mean a whole package for the new growth only sounds like a waste.
aboood aboood the person that responded is incorrect and I'm sure not black. You can use leftovers, just freeze it.
@ Eden Mchavi
last i checked i was black. and the perm that was used in the video can not be freezed.
dark1alucard 1. it's a relaxer not a perm. 2 you can freeze no lye relaxer. Carry on
“Hair looks pretty straight, I’m not gonna lye”🤣
The funniest thing to me is that he got this kit of Amazon. I would just go to the black hair shop.
Tia mia Maybe he doesn't have an afro hair shop or a shop that stocks afro hair products in his area. Or perhaps he doesn't know of one. He is clearly British, and I'll tell you from experience, unless you live in a major city like London or Manchester etc, afro hair salon, shops, or products are not easy to come by. Plus, the internet is an easy option. What may come natural to some in their towns and cities, may not be an option to others. Time may bring changes though.
Tia mia Relaxing hair doesn't have to be done by a Black person. White ppl an other ethnicity get relaxers & perms...
I can't believe I just watched a Caucasian MAN relax his hair. Not sure why but I feel so proud of him😂
Some months ago, a white girl bought a relaxer at the drug store and used it WITHOUT reading the instructions. Of course, her hair came out and she was on UA-cam crying.
But this guy, this man, just used the product perfectly.
Kudos to him.
And personally, I like his hair either curly or straight.
Any tips for this white girl would be greatly appreciated! My hair type is similar to his but brunette and thinner
Oh my goodness please base your scalp with vaseline before you apply the perm if you do this again.
Yeeesss, these perms are no joke I bet he had scabs, poor child.
no dont tell them because now non blacks claim its not made for just our hair so let them find out for themselves how to use it without our help.
Oyin lola well theirs clearly black woman on the package so it wouldn't be a problem. Put positivity in the world help each other let him know so he doesn't hurt himself. 🙄
i know. but ive been reading comments and i see a white person say perms was not made for afro hair. then i see other white people who dont even know what it is or how to use it. thats why i stated the comment above like since it wasnt made for our hair then they dont need our advice.
I wonder if he gets mad when people splash water on him🤔..I bet hes like "nooo girl I just got my perm😂"
once u get a relaxer ur hair permanently straight no matter how much u get it wet the relaxer alters the hair strand make up so if you get it wet the relaxer will not wash out
and ur hair will not return to its previous state if its still some what curly or wavy that means the relaxer didnt fully take not that it washed out
your statement is VERY unvaild I get my perms professionally done and if I get my hair wet it curls right back to it's natural state
a perm and relaxer are different a perm make ur hair curly or wavy and a relaxer straightens it if ur hair is still wavy or curly after a Relaxer then ur hair wasnt fully processed correctly. After a Relaxer the only hair that will be curly is ur new growth.
He's legit cute af!!!! Awesome job
cracked me up when he said he ordered it off of amazon. im like go to any beauty supply in the hood. but then i had to remember that other countries might not have that set up necessarily. still funny af.
khammerit2 i don't see how it's any different ordering online (at half the price) rather than browsing through shops? It's the same with anything nowadays.
+Milo's Lifestyle that's not the funny part. The funny part is its a product that's so easy to get & honestly the same price in the store vs online. Maybe more online considering there might be a shipping price. Lol also that u got a perm. Which is an obvious solution for straightening curly hair (which is very bad for your hair and brain btw) . Black girls been doing this in their kitchen since forever so to see it from a different perspective is funny. The point is, it was real millennial of you to order it online instead of just grab it at a local beauty supply. Lhh
Milo's Lifestyle it's actually cheaper to get the products in a beauty store. There are loads in any big city in the uk bham, London, Manchester etc
You're not usually meant to wash your hair before you relax it. But your hair didn't fizzle off so all is well.
On another note, most people don't realise that a lot of non black people relax their hair.
In conclusion, to eaches own.
I do not miss the relaxer life at all. Lol.
Cool video though. Make sure you keep up with relaxing that regrets before the ends just breaks off.
i am surprised this turned out and his hair didnt break off since he said he does this every few months.
Sarah Sachiko Thank you!!! I have extremely coarse, frizzy, curly hair. To get my hair remotely non lioness requires heat or chemicals....even for curls or POOF!!!! ...and it's not even cute poof :/
Sarah Sachiko Thank you!!! I have extremely coarse, frizzy, curly hair. To get my hair remotely non lioness requires heat or chemicals....even for curls or POOF!!!! ...and it's not even cute poof :/
Sarah Sachiko ikr! I'm korean and i use this exact same perm every other month! i need my hair to be bone straight! they have them here in Korea 😂
First off, you are so freaking cute! Anyways, you did a great job for your first time. Your hair looks great both ways my dude! Here’s a tip: I used to get my hair relaxed every six months years ago (terrible I know) but make sure you put vaseline or some type of thick oil around the perimeter of your head (on your skin lol) so the relaxer does burn you.
wow someone with curly hair is using a product aimed at people with curly hair, let's get angry guys!
I guess people who get judged based on their look are good at judging someone based on their looks ☺nice one
i know every black person that watched this screamed "nooooo u don't do that with relaxer!!!' i know i did, oh god sweetie ur hair is just a loose curl, with a deep conditioner ur hair would've been fine. you could've just gotten john frida hair straightening products for ur hair or beautiful textures for ur hair. relaxer's are too damaging for hair, especially yours. if it can fuck up a woman's hair thats 4a,4b,4c it will definitely fuck up yours the longer you use it .
zomaster1 noo I have similar hair to him except it's a little more curly and John Freda doesn't work! Hair that dries just Frizzy doesn't work the same way!
Cakey Bacon his hair is like a 3a-3b and it didn't work for your hair?? use beautiful textures temp straightener, that works for all hair types and pretty easy to find. i have 3c-4a hair and i used the john frida stuff before and it worked fine for me, granted its only temp till u put water to the hair but its not meant to permanently straighten hair. it's still more healthier than a full on relaxer though and the way this kid did it just made me scream.
How the hell did his hair fit so perfectley under that hat
he probably stuffs as much hair as possible under the hat and then shaves anything the hat doesnt cover. lol
Don't know how I got here but you're so adorable 😊😍
I think i saw you at crundee ep 1 comment section ... I may be crazy dont mind me
Y'all need to shut up and let this boy do what he wants with his hair 🤷🏽♀️
I agree. Now he knows what Black women who relax their hair go through. They just won't let us do what we want to do with our own hair.
I got sick of my frizzy curly hair and finally did a relaxer. I have really bad depression so it always looked pretty gross and it was always tangled and I was never motivated to look good. Probably the best decision I ever made because now I finally feel confident.
Am I the only who is proud to see a white guy perm his hair with typically black girl hair stuff.
Autumn Maynard I've been looking for a video like this to see if it works for white people hair
TheELLanOs calm tf down she didn't even mean it in a offensive way. And tbh the product WAS made for black and is TYPICALLY used by black women ,hence the black women on the box. I can understand if she was being offensive but she wasn't so don't come at her that way
People are mad because he can self relax better than they can without scorching off his hair. You did a fantastic job man 👍🏾
Um... you're only suppose to put it on the roots to touch it up not over all your hair. You've just done a double process on the hair that had been straighten prior which will soon result in your ends look thin and break off.
+ERGSEG but do you still have to do that even for other types of hair? like wavy hair?
Ben Yang Yes. It doesn't matter what type of hair you have, you never want to over-process anything. It's like putting bleach on a part of your hair that has already been bleached. Unless you like damaged hair then go ahead lol.
I love red hair ❤ Its so rare and beautiful. When my hair grows back, im dying it red again
This white boy really got an ORS Olive Oil Relaxer and giving a tutorial on how to perm hair. I've seen it all
I was like um he should not being giving a tutorial like he forgot to say keep washing u r hair til the shampoo us no longer pink but white and If ue have a sensitive scalp grease it and also perms come I different levels of strength
So we just gonna ignore the fact that he used a women's relaxer box and not the one for men?
how many people saw this after seeing that girl burn her hair off.
Milo's Lifestyle check out Hannah Forcier
-How all my hair fell out making one mistake : story time
I was wondering if anyone would comment this! I'm glad this one didn't end in tragedy LOL
You know its funny I think i saw this before months before her video went viral but i forgot all about it.
I wouldn't recommend this to non black people. Relaxers are harsh. Even us black women stay away from these now
Please don't say us black woman like say you can speak for our whole race
this has literally been proven to be harmful as shit...this product was specifically MADE for black women and many of us are staying away??? how do you even get offended by that statement??
So many pretty black girls commenting his cute.. This white boy got game! 😂
@@kianatheehoustonpimp hmm... I guess our idea of pretty must differ severely from yours 🤔

As soon as I saw the box he was holding in the pic I had to see what sort of nonsense this was 😂😂😂😂
I love the curly hair but u still handsome hunny 😘 some black people always tryna claim hair products and styles 😂 stfu who cares ? he can do what he want with his hair let him be !
King Javonique Well this product does recommend for African American hair. No said he can't use but it probably won't work properly for his hair type because of the chemical the put in it.
+Justme23 Love people are trying to say he cant use it because he's white. But he can . He's hot either way tbh
Justme23 Love but his hair was originally curly. You don't have to be black to have curly hair my hairs curlier than my friends who's half Jamaican and I'm Spanish so I'm white and we use the same hair products. Curly hair isn't specific to one race
I'm obsessed with this product dude!!! 😍❤️
i love his natural hair he can do soo many more things with it but relaxed is cool too
j Bennett he just doesn't know how to take care of naturally curly thick hair
Mandy Rentas I know I don't. I'm trying to train my hair back but my wavy/curls give me a fro and I don't know how to deal with it. It looks sloppy all the time.
NOOO DONT DO THIS ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR HAIR TEXTURE.. I'm a hairstylist and CRINGING. Not only are box relaxers terrible formulas but they are too much for your hair texture. The way you applied this was soo wrong there is a science to this hence why I went to school and payed thousands to learn the proper application. Plus to anyone watching after you relaxed your hair you can't go over it again at all...only the new growth meaning you have to part in sections. Someone watching this is gonna mess up and burn their scalp up or over process. UGH I'm sorry but I'm passionate about warning people. Go to a professional please.
Appreciate your message. Do you have any suggestions? i have hair exactly like this dude and it can get annoying as hell. This video convinced me and I was about to purchase this product until I read your comment. What would you recommend to people with such hair? Also what are your thoughts on products like Wella or Silis?
Ethan Hunt A keratin treatment. They are drying but it's ok you're a guy and I'm sure you will be getting your hair cut often. There are also smoothing treatments you can have done that are not keratin treatments. If you can't go to the salon to get it done then try the Zotos brand they have a kit that smooths your hair for like 2 months I believe. You can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. It cost more then that box relaxer BUT it's not harmful and is gentle and easy to apply and great for your hair type. I have used it before. I'm only familiar with Wells's color line btw. Thanks for understanding my comment
I got the same problem as this guy, the product you mentioned does not ship to Sweden and i really don't want to spend 200USD going to a saloon and do it.
Currently i use keratin based schampo, conditioner and packing or whatever it's called in English, i mean it do smooth out the hair and curls but after two hours my hair goes crazy and mess up my style, i always blowdry and use a flat iron and i only schampo and condition etc about every fourth day in order to keep my hair as healthy as possible, but i want to be able to skip the flatiron part to prevent atleast that heat from my hair so as of now a salon or what this guy is the only solution for me.
Relaxers are not the healthiest thing to do to the hair no doubt. I however disagree that his texture is a reason to avoid them. People w type 4 hair have the easiest hair type for a relaxer to break down. There is quite a lot of reversion as curls get looser. Looser curl patterns tend to have more protective layers making it harder for a relaxer to straighten/ permanently straighten. Seen it first hand although it was a mild relaxer I bought for a white guy that didn't quite take.
Erik sjögren you know what...I'm honestly not sure because I'm not familiar with what you'll be able to access 😕
I’m a white guy and I also used a permanent hair relaxer made for afro hair . It made my hair super straight for like a week and then it started curling again. It ended up looking like I hadn’t relaxed it at all 🤬. It was supposed to be permanent! So I used another brand of permanent relaxer and relaxed it all over again. The same exact thing happened again!! 🤯
Saw that olive oil box and diiiiiieeeedddddd, what is this cutie ginger snap doing. Literally came for the comments *grabs popcorn*
this is so odd lol I'm mixed black and I have to do this to have straight hair never seen a white person do this before in my life ever
I've heard of white people doing it with really curly hair but they have like a different brands of relaxers lol
My mom is French(white) and she use to perm her hair back in the 70s so she could have a afro. I've only seen pictures so I don't know exactly how she did it.
Now ... y'all know before I even clicked on this video I said in my head "Now , bitch ... "
*_Just straightened my hair 1 hour ago with Milo's method (i'm Ethiopian born/roots)_*
imma re-do it in a few weeks and upload it for my black men out there
You did a great job!!! And for others attempting to do this...A relaxer is not intended for straight and/or fine textured hair. Plus there are different strengths i.e. mild, regular, and super...and please do the strand test if it's your first time
M!zHip CiTy Thank you, only comment that makes sense. A relaxer straightens hair where as a perm curls hair. If a person with straight hair wants to use a relaxer they would only use it to maybe combat frizz but that would be useless...
night k you put a little bit of the relaxer on a tiny bit of hair.
I have 2b + 2c hair. That is high porosity. My hair gets knotty really easily, within 5 minutes after brushing my hair i already cannot run my hands thru it , and my hair doesnt like to flow down, if i scrunch my hair with my hand itll just stay poofed up. Eventho my hair is only 2b/2c do you think this treatment will be okay for me considering its still coarse and resistant?
You should use keratin treatment, it is better and not damaging
For whites' people hair it does magic, it is not as good for African hair, that is true. But it will make your hair sleek and you can repeat it as many times as you want because it is actually a keratin bonding technique, you can't damage your hair by adding this product as it is, only the heat you will use could damage it but you can be careful.
Roshanmiracles
It can literally straighten the curl pattern but keratin treatment will do little for the texture. It will smooth it out a little bit but it is not that strong that it will flatten all the tiny kinks and twists that exist in very coarse kinky hair.
So us European, who has usually silky hair, it can do magic because our shaft is silky enough but we might have huge bends (aka curls) and they can very easily soften to the point the hair is pin straight.
African people can still benefit from it but expect the hair might look like you mildly straightened the hair into a straight fluff (if that makes sense). It depends also on how nerve your hair strands have, the more nerve the harder to take the natural state of it into another state by a keratin treatment.
I absolutely thought your hair was beautiful before the relaxer. I am glad it worked for you, no one knows your struggles with your hair but you.. keep up the good work
IT WORKS!!!! thank you soooooo much! I finally found the perfect product for my hair which I've been looking for for 5 years!
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous, red & natural. You definitely don't need it relaxed.
Jealous much??? That was a sincere compliment to Mr. Milo only...nothing more.
she said hes doesn't need it. She didnt tell him what to do with his life. pretty neutral...
I agree that his hair is beautiful but no need to tell him he didn't need to do it because he already did it
I can happily die by the hands of clown now that I've seen a white guy relax his hair 👏😩🙌
U OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT HAIR. UNLIKE U I DO AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT RELAXERS ARE NOT JUST FOR BLACK PEOPLE! I WOULNT HAVE RECOMMEND HIM USING THIS SODIUM BASED PRODUCT I WOULD HAVE OPTED FOR A THIO DUE TO HIS HAIR TEXTURE... NOT HIS COLOR... NOT ONLY BLACK PEOPLE HAVE A HAIR TEXTURE THEY WANT ALTERED. GET A CLUE.
The struggles of waking up with curly hair, is waking up with a giant fuzzball on your head first thing in the morning.
YellowLeaf04 right. Specially if shower sleep and wake up in the morning then looks like crazy curl hair just like his ahah
Love this, I'm black my husbands white we have a beautiful red haired son with very course hair, it doesn't matter what colour you are if you hair is thick and you want it easier to maintain this is a great way to do it. Loved your video very well explained, you look great. X
Hi Milo,
Just wanted to let you know if you see this, that I enjoyed your video. Ignore the hate you're getting. You learned lmao its whatever. People feel the need to criticize over a screen, but I and a lot of other ppl enjoy all of your videos not just this one.
I have the exact same hair as you, color and all, do you recommend me using this, i can't deal with it anymore.
As an American Biracial (black and native american) woman, this is the greatest video of my life. Especially since I just used this on monday. I go to walmart, pick it up for 7 us dollars (about the same price he paid in euros) and apply it to my head. However, i go through and part my hair and grease my scalp and everything. This dude just slaps it up there and everything is okay. Like thank you for making this video. I get so caught up in what I am culturally adapted to that I forget other people actually use the same stuff. Thank you for this. Idk how i ended up here, but for once youtube suggestions have done me justice.
caramel dale This isn't relevant, but I'm black and Native American also.
I'm black and I can't believe you relaxed your hair !! I wish you wouldn't have done it. Why do you think so many black people are stopping relaxing their hair and going natural? Relaxers are NOT good for your hair. You can have amazing beautiful healthy relaxed hair but overall long term effects isn't good! But it's your hair and you have pretty hair either way
Guys! I just checked his channel and hes joined the natural hair movement!!! Proud of u sis.
Oh Lord poor thing. Us black people try to stay away from that😂😂😂
expecially since they got to wash there hair every day and if it's supper clean that shit will burn and scab there scalps
Why are you black people staying away from relaxers??? I'm not Black and confused as shit after reading the comments here. lol
hunny next time oil your scalp ,forehead, ears and KITCHEN (for those who knows what a 'kitchen' is lol)!!! You are sure to have sores on your scalp and they scab up... careful...😫😮😧
I'm crying, you said kitchen. 😂😂😂 But for real, though. My scalp felt sore just thinking about it. Haven't had that creamy crack in a few years. I ain't about that life. Was for 10~ years, though.
lol that's what my mama called it. But for real that crap is soooo bad for your hair
been natural since 2009 had to ask myself what a kitchen was..... perms=kitchen natural=nape lol
Lol I think his method works for him tho. Since he said he does this every few months.
Just a little advice, to be sure that the perm reaches most of the hair, section your hair off rather than slapping the perm randomly on your hair. Also, put the perm on the parts of the hair that hasn't been permed, which is the hair closest to the root. That will keep the hair from becoming damaged from breakage.
Try Pink's Smooth Touch (Regular)2-3 months after The ORS treatment. The formula is great! I do love the ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion, it's amazing. Also, to protect your hair line before adding product to your hair, use Vaseline or Coconut Oil all over your hair line, ears and back of neck to prevent burns from the product on your skin.💟
no one in the comments section is hating some ppl think it funny but still have him tips no one is hating tho I think y'all r just saying stuff to be saying it
Noooo don't pleaseeee relaxers are so harmful not just for your hair but your health curls are wonderful😍 from the loosest to the tightest butttt..if you want to go ahead just be careful, read the INSTRUCTIONS, don't leave it on too long, always do it in a VERY well ventilated area, and be very particular about after care(essentially baby your hair) good luck 👍 relaxer/chemical straighter users ♥️
Ps hair straighteners are great and work wonders though...just saying😂😂😂😂
Lol im black and I never relaxed my hair... Really 2016...what a time to be alive
yass finally someone else, me neither and never will. I'm sticking with the hairtexture I'm born with.
It's not that someone doesn't love their natural hair, maybe it's done for maintenance or for styling purposes. Personally, my hair (that I love might I add) is very hard to comb out so I relax it occasionally
In gonna post this on any video I see like this:
The black women on the box are meant to appeal to the product’s target audience. It’s marketing 101. BUT!!! (and it’s a big but) just because there are black women on the box does NOT MEAN it isn’t meant for other races and ethnicities. The product is marketed to black women but not all black women use relaxers. Usage should depend on your hair. Not your race. And I LOVE his results!
The only thing I see in these comments are people complaining about OTHER people complaining about him putting in a relaxer, when no one is complaining about him putting the relaxer in his hair. Seems like you people started an argument with yourselves.
He is so adorable! This is the perm that I use, love it #NotEveryoneIsOrWantsToBeNatural 💁🏽
Its Marko! It depends on your texture & how coarse it is, but at least 2 months..maybe more. I do a perm twice a year
I can't see the product. 😖. Is the one you using better than this olive thingy? How long does the olive one work for?
elias wolf no, I use the olive oil one lol. It's the best, in my opinion
they have discovered relaxer... I've seen it all lol, what's next?
Yeah I know but they aren't as sacred as they used to be. A lot of us aren't using them anymore.
Did it burn you ? This is the same one I use , I do it once a year now , but dayummm does it burn! I love it ! It came out perfect !
When the perm goes in ur hair when ur rubbing it in the scalp, it should burn just a little teeny bit.
So many comments about how it's ridiculous how a "white boy" is using this. It's a hair product, it doesn't once specify for who it should be applied, I don't see why it makes a difference if it is helping many others with the same problem I do. Apologises to those who didn't enjoy, but thank you for the support from the rest.
Milo's Lifestyle it looks good
Milo's Lifestyle it's really sad how people will truly complain/ be offended by anything. That's something that sold at a wallgreens or cvs and I've seen them for years, you have hair that you want straight, it's a problem because you're not a person of color?
I think the comments are more shock than people genuinely getting upset. You did good though!
this product is not made for the texture of Caucasian hair. It is formulated to straighten hair that is much more coarse. The chemicals in it are very strong-- they need to be to straighten the type of hair it is intended to be used on. It is also very damaging to the hair----bad idea to use it especially for Caucasians
what where are those comments??
this was posted months ago why are u saying this now
im black and i liked it
why did'nt u just straighten ur hair with a straightener
SSOOOO MANY QUESTIONS
