- Welcome to Sonne Farms! On this channel we showcase numerous jobs a Corn/Soybean/Beef producing operation takes on each day. Hop in the cab or sorting alley with Cole, Brian, and Jeff, to see how life really is for the people that help feed the US and the rest of the world. In addition to Corn, Soy, and Cattle, Sonne Farms puts up grass and alfalfa and sells pure bred Black Angus Bulls in South Dakota.

That “heeler” is an amazing labor-saving piece of equipment. I really appreciate Cole’s devotion of hours of camera placement, camera relocation, and editing to share their experiences. I'm “hooked” and look forward to every video. Looks like Brian is “warming up” to the camera and his wit and wisdom are priceless. Always enjoy seeing Uncle Jeff working with y'all. Keep up the good work.
thanks so much Jerry!!
Everything you said and then some! There isn't anything to not love about this channel, site or whatever you would want to call it.

I could watch you guys work cattle three days a week and twice on Saturday! Not sure exactly why, it's just satisfying.
You just like watching other people work. I do too ha ha ha ha ha
@@conradnelson5283 Me too!! I watch Sonne videos while I work (we tie-dye for Disney), and watching these is inspirational :-) I'm a little older than Brian, and any motivation I can find is a plus! Also, I grew up on a ranch just outside of the Black Hills and these remind me of home. Have a great day!
One of the best channels on UA-cam! Cattle farming, grain farming, hay farmers and helps run a Business or two STORLA STATION!! Thanks for sharing with us you’re very entertaining and educational. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

We're at the mercy if Mother Nature. 🤞
Here in Victoria, Australia, (winter), we had above average rainfall for August but temps were slightly higher.
Here's to prayers of good rainfall to see the pastures feed the critters. 😁🙏💙🦘

Yet another great band and song. Brian you're a font of knowledge.
Your dad and Jeff really make us Big Burly 60 year old boy’s look good. The Heeler really looks like a nice system. Good luck with harvest.

Hey Brian…I use the same logic to do what I want! Enjoy watching you and Cole and Ellie.
Planting and harvest times of the year are the best. Great video.
Praying for rain. We all could use it. But my lawn is just for looks, I don't make a living off my lawn, so you get first dibs on the sky water!
Excellent piece of equipment
That song is the best song I reckon
Enjoy so much watching you guys I grew up on a farm as a kid it was dairy but my father lost her to TB. So then we won't try the beef just steers Hard to farm back in the day but you're always susceptible to the weather I understand where you guys are coming from Weather can be a maker breaker. Thank you guys enjoy your tapes
Right after I finished watching my Sonne Farms episode, in my UA-cam feed was a video with Steve Lukather of Toto singing “Hold the Line”. I guess you could call that the “Brian Sonne Bump”.
Wow!
You could use one of the four wheelers to unfold those panels. Save your energy. Weld a chain to the lower portion of the panel with a hook to hang it out of the way.
You Cole, Brian & Jeff really make the job done with ease...
I look forward to each one of your Vlogs... Hugs & Blessings throughout the Fall & Einter season...
GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💙🤗✝️
The Areo-Quip system looks nice and the cattle from the camera go into it chute area easier. Praying for some rain for you.

Tell Uncle Jeff that I to am an Uncle Jeff to my sisters daughters and I to have the same body shape :)
Great to see the Sonne Brothers out romping with the youngster, Cole...
That Heller is definitely a much needed improvement.
Sad to hear 3rd cutting didn't happen.
Here's hoping 🙏 the harvest will help keep you in good shape over the winter seasons.
God Bless Sonne Farms
Thank you so much!
It'll rain again, keep taking amazing care of yourselves and those animals. Focus on what you have control over. Made me laugh, and puke in my mouth a little when you gave dad that tag.

Awesome video! Love watching you 3. God bless.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your welcome 😎
Apparently a string of GoPro's would make a very good fence.
We finally got some rain down here in Texas. Nine inches in 36 hours. It helped a bunch.
I hope and pray y’all get some rain, good rain to finish your grazing season on a high note! 😊👍🏻
Oh wow!
Yeah man! Beef is what's for dinner! Thanks for sharing another great video!
That was really great!! That system seems to work pretty darn well. Set up and take down looks very good and use seems good too. I had to chuckle there when the poo started flying. Brought back the laugh when Brian was escorting the last calf out of a trailer and it miss stepped out and fell on it's chest. That created a "blast overpressure" on it's chest that propelled the contents of its colon all over Brian. Still, I had to consider Brian the lucky one. Had that been me, I would have been mid syllable of a panic "OH POOP" with mouth wide open, as a copious amount of bovine recycled vegetable matter entered the upper end of my digestive tract. Which probably would have resulted in a two way purge of any and every thing I had put IN that tract in the last month or two.. Not to mention the total release of every sphincter on my body. Brian, you had a LOT more control than I think I EVER could have mustered. I gag just to think about it. I can handle steppin in that stuff, but that is as close to my face as I can go. Thanks for letting me share this just out of shart range!! I appreciate that,
lol
It's funny seeing things from Australia in the USA and then in Australia you see a American made yards
You got to beat that heat 😊
That's a neat (what ever you called it,and Brian that is a great song!!!
Maybe the military should consider using the heeler when they give their recruits physicals, shots and their kit. I felt like a steer when they herded me around.
Another great video. Looks like the corral is working perfectly. Very dry here in Oklahoma as well . 🙏🙏 for rain. For all of us.
Good video Cole and Brian and Jeff & dog & cows yal stay safe
🤣🤣”cut up an old REA pole”......been years since I’ve heard a reference to REA (Rural Electrification Administration). I retired from an REA electric cooperative after 35 years, have fond memories of REA.
never new what that acronym stood for!
@@SonneFarms Cole...iirc, REA was set up during the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration to help spread electricity to rural America. Part of the New Deal doings?
@@SonneFarms *K*
Even here in the East it's been dry. No coastal tropical storms and little serious rain. It doesn't "feel" dry looking at the fields, but my swimming pool has dropped lower than I can remember from evaporation. Usually rain makes up for the evaporation....and it evaporates faster when the humidity is low. I haven't cut the lawn in a month, even the grass has gone dormant.
That Heeler is frigin awesome
The Dakota Beef Producers need you as their spokesperson.
I think your cows have the Hershey squirts.. That is Pennsylvania Slang for the runs LOL
Fun on the farm 👍
COLE... You got the MEATS!
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it
You told your father he's welcome, lol, well played!!
Love it. Mine got genetics...yours got sale barn. :)
haha yep
I thought that you might have picked the song of the day with Johnny Cash singing "I Walk the Line". 🤔 By the way, your new corral is impressive.
I love your videos. I’ve been watching them all as I’m laid up with a fractured tibia. Just love you guys. ❤️
This year just seems to be odd with the weather. Today we just got a shower of rain out of the blue, here in Kansas. This world summer has been strange. I enjoy your video's very much. 61 years old can't do much with my 100 year old body. LOL Seems like that age. Keep up the great work. Always gives me a giggle. God Bless you all.
Good looking g calves folks...thanks for the vid..👨🌾🚜👨🌾👍👍
Need to show more of storla station
That sure went well, great to see...hope you get some rain soon.
