I agree. Looked like the "silvery" paper-like sac that #DrPimplePopper usually has to cut off. This one was long over due, poor thing! It also looked like there was a second cyst below it that wasn't emptying. I can't believe they do this without numbing! Yeeouch!
I think that area that looks like a second smaller cyst could have been a scar from a previous emptying of the cyst but it came back. I don’t think it will come back again with Thuy on the job this time. 😊

I know right!? I’ve often wondered why the technicians only ever use one tool when there are multiple tools on offer. Scalpel Needle Blackhead extractor Tweezers I figured it was out of shear stubbornness or a case of “choose your weapon” 😆 but who knows 🤷♀️ Whatever the reason- I love the tenacity each one of these technicians display! 👌
Wish she could invest in tweezers and curettes for situations like this. Doing a great job but it would be less painful for the client and easier on her.
People who have easy access to modern health care, and can afford it are most of the time afraid of pain, and we know that numbing is easily available. In the US, is it normal to get an epidural when a woman is in labor. In a lot of countries, people give birth without pain medication. Also, if you have to pull out the wisdom theeth, people in the US go under anesthesia. Here in the Netherlands, people only get a anesthetic shot. You are fully awake if the dentist pulls them out. Only a few people who are really scared and go into panic can get a reference from the dentist to go to hospital and go under anesthesia. It is just a matter of fact if you have easy access to modern medicine and can also afford it. I always say if you have easy access, you scream that something does hurt before it happened. People also go to hospitals and doctors more often if they have easy access. Then just wait a few days, and look if it gets better or if it gets worse. We are spoiled and have become much softer in handling pain. If you don't have easy access, you are much tougher in handling pain. That's what I experienced anyway.
Actually I have seen Thuy injecting lidocaine on two occasions before and I have seen her really open someone up to remove a massive cystic sac and she put a few stitches in as well. I think because of the inability for people to afford a proper dermatologist there they have begun training spa owners with simple I&D procedures and ancillary medications. I don’t remember where I saw the videos showing her doing those things but they weren’t on her regular channels. I always keep an eye out and will update if I find them

He makes recommendations to his patients, but ultimately it is the patient’s decision. I, myself wasn’t put “under” to get my wisdom teeth out. Just numbing. He did say he does prefer general anesthesia for harder procedures in that the patient is usually very nervous, can’t hold their mouth open the way he needs it, the longer the procedure is taking the more and more they get agitated which makes the heart rate go up, and he has to talk the patients down. It isn’t because of pain, it’s because of fear. When your put under, it’s over and done with before you know it with less trauma to the mouth because he can do the work way more quickly and recovery is way less painful. But again, it’s always up to the patient. Given the choice, fully knowing what has to be done (1/2 of them traumatic to think about), why wouldn’t you get put under. Is it not a choice over there, because to me it’s a no-brainer? As for Thuy, she does the best she can with what she’s allowed to do. Have a blessed day 🙏!

I think these girls in VN do a pretty good job. They do the same as a Dr. would do but don't make the larger opening since they are not qualified to cut away skin and stitch.

Anyone who complained that Thuy needs to squeeze in different directions obviously didn’t watch the entire video. At about 4:57 she changes direction of her squeezes and continues to use mostly 4 fingers from all directions until the end. Great extraction!
I so wish that the people doing these pops could hear what at least for me what I am SCREAMING at the screen 😆. Even tho I am not a professional it seems that they would realize that when squeezing the cysts, the contents are moving away from the pressure and needs to be squeezed from different positions to fully remove.
Thuy must have been out the day they taught that. Is is the only mistake that she makes repeatedly with large cysts like this one. Perhaps she is trying to leave the camera angle open, but it is bizarre.
Some things should be left to the professionals. In this case, this sebaceous cyst, should be treated by a general surgeon who knows what the heck they are doing. Getting the contents out, as much as it is fun to keep watching stuff squirting out of that hole, is not the definitive treatment for this type of cyst. The best way to ensure it won't recur, is to remove the sac inside with the contents inside intact, and excise the leading pore.
With all due respect, you are aware that this is Vietnam right? When the people have cysts and can’t afford the surgical clean-out, the doctors actually send them to Thuy, as she is the best at what she does. Antibiotics are also accessible over there as well. She is known to completely evacuate cysts contents and wall out of a hole no larger than 2 millimeters. She has the ability to use anesthetic to make her clients comfortable. While what she posts in a single video may seem brutal, there is a lot at the end of the sessions that doesn’t get shown. She is nowhere near as brutal and messy as ms huang, that’s for sure!
Agree this should be excised clear then the sac and sac wall removed with a scrape of the inside tissue with a curette to make sure it’s clean. Then stitched up to heal

I find these young women amazing. They can take a cyst the size of an egg out of a half inch slit in the skin, and remove the sac as well!
