She is one of the few Greatest. She could sing ANYTHING, she was beautiful, polished and well-dressed always. Each Label she sang on, I bought the record. No comparison and she was nice to her audience. 💕 The Pips were so fly and great dancers.
I took my then girlfriend, now my wife, to see Gladys Knight and the Pips at Painters Mill Post Pavilion in Pikesville Md. outside of Baltimore. in 1974. No one puts on a show like the Queen and her Pips. A memory I will forever cherish. Thanks Queen! Love you!

I love Gladys...she is so down to earth, old school and tells it like it is. I love her wisdom and truth. You can see she loves life, because every time you see her, she's got the biggest brightest smile...and she knew about Motown before she went over there as she said, but I'm sure she didn`t know the extent of the Motown Queen, Ms. Diana Ross, who by the way was an issue for all the Motown Artist, especially the female ones. It is wonderful that Gladys was able to overcome the obstacle that was Diana and forge ahead.....Berry could have made even more money off of the artist he kicked to the side for Diana's career, because Gladys was just as marketable as Diana, as was other female artist at Motown. So he pretty much sold out to market Diana as a white woman, pulling in white artist, which makes sense if he wanted his artist to crossover, but what he failed to realize, was that all of the MOTOWN ARTIST where the biggest selling crossover label anyway. I like Diana, always have, but dislike people who are like her, deceitful, cunning, diabolical, pretty much like beYAWNce, but I guess evil is as evil does. Just glad Gladys was able to rise above it all....
