The Gingerbread Trail of Giving - The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa

The spirit of The National Gingerbread House Competition has always been centered around family, community, love and togetherness. Even without the judging portion of the competition, the heart of this beloved tradition remains.
In an effort to support the community during Asheville’s recovery period, competitors brought their gingerbread creations to be displayed for visitors and locals to view at the resort and local businesses. This change in format allows us to share the beauty and magic of our competitors’ work with the community-a community that deeply needs the hope and joy their artistry can bring.
Gingerbread entries are on display starting Saturday, November 23, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Follow the Gingerbread Trail of Giving around Asheville to view all the gingerbread houses that are part of this year’s display. The trail can be split up and done over multiple days or completed in one day. The map will indicate which locations are walkable and which should be driven to. We hope that as people visit these locations, they receive some extra love to support in their rebuilding efforts.
