I'm frequently praying and fasting for several things including peace in and for Haiti.
This is why it's so important to teach our kids the bible and think about homeschooling or going to a Christian school because of so much false teaching in public schools

I remember when a general was asked about how long a war with North Korea would last. His answer was: "Three days, it would be over within hours on the first day but take Kim two more days to accept it." -- We're talking about a country with no radar, no working tanks or jets .. and the U.S. with squadrons of bombers right next door.
Regardless of the abilities an enemy country has or don't have, one should never underestimate them. If Kim is willing to go to war with a technologically superior country then it is because he has something to use that may not be known as of yet and he thinks he can do enough damage to tip the scales in his favor even if it is for the short term and cannot be sustained. A man backed into a corner with nowhere to go can and will be dangerous for whoever has to deal with him at that point. Never underestimate any enemy no matter what ones confidence level of victory against said enemy is.
And dont forget...Viet Nam a country that had no high tech and yet defeated the USA...

Kind of, but really, what do we have committed due to these conflicts? 2 carrier groups babysitting the ME area to keep haters off Israel's back and a few other naval assets along with a handful of other countries naval assets in the Red Sea teaching the houthis why you don't touch our boats. So amazingly, with all this going on, we have less military assets deployed around the world now than we have had in well over 20 years. All the while russia is neutering themselves militarily in Ukraine, leaving China as the only major threat, and they basically stand alone, we have scores of competent allies, most with recent warfighting experience, China hasn't seen any real conflict or really tested any of their new systems in batte, so I understand why they don't seem in a rush to destroy themselves economically by alienating a good chunk of their trading partners the minute they make their move on Taiwan. Not to mention that Taiwan has been preparing for a Chinese invasion for like 70 years now and will destroy all the infrastructure China wants so badly if they think they're going to lose it, so really it's a no-win from the get-go, they should stay their course and enjoy their prosperity while the getting is good
