This woman is so talented as a singer & actress, I need a new adjective to describe her. She's just so JenniferNettles, which means too wonderful for words!!
Very different from other versions. BUT VERY NICE. Her country sound works exceptionally well with this song as it was written as a of cross between a country and theatre ballad. Super beautiful, raw, and powerful! ❤️❤️
This is so good. Just so so good. This is just SO SO SO SO GOOD. It's not a spectacle. It's not throwing in every riff and run. It's honoring the source material and she sounds DAMN GOOD at it.
just saying I have literally watched this video and her one with Karen Olivo 2-15 times a day since it came out. Today I'm going for the record. Jennifer Nettles is a Goddess
I have heard so many covers of this song and I was convinced that no one could sing it as well as Steven. I was wrong. Picturing Kelli as Francesca with Jennifer as "Roberta" is the version of Bridges I never knew I wanted but need immediately.
@@vanessadavid1480 Absurd. She is very talented but not remotely right for the role. It is bad enough that Lauren Ambrose was a horror show. Nettles is not vocally suited for Eliza, not in the slighest.
@@emilynicole1234 Perfect? Far from it. And the critcs didn't toss roses at her in the initial reviews and many rightfully took snipes at her when the right person took over. Ambrose was out of her league vocally and she looked so frumpy. She lacked charm and was utterly humorless. Bartlett Sher directed her like she was in Madea and not once did she have a vague concept of what the lyrics meant. I am glad to be old enough to have seen what Lerner & Lowe originally intended and it was not this mediocre revival.

This is the QUEEN of country. Best Country Vocalist bar none!!!!!
She is the BEST at songs with feeling, hands down! Such as Stay, brilliant.

Interpretation and emotion expressed beautifully. Jennifer is boundless!!
This really is very well done, and the version she included in her just released album "Always Like New" is somehow even better still.

This woman is my hero
Out…what’s the word….STANDING!👏👏👏👏
We are legally obligated to stan!!!
The way she speaks makes me feel like I'm at a church sermon
Jennifer Nettles is allowed to sing any broadway song she wants, because she NEVER misses.
Damn. That was so freakin beautiful!
Can we revive Bright Star for this beautiful woman?
Inspired!
holy moly that was good
Humm sorry ...soooooo powerfull in her voice......
The way kelli was sitting there watching that😍
I really need to see Kelly watching this performance
Finally not a pitchy over the top high voice with not to much vibrato. This i could listen to every day. Love it.
She looks just like Jennifer Lawrence in the thumbnail
I thought this said Jennifer Lawrence at first and was very impressed/confused. Mystique be out here singing.
give me lesbian bridges of madison county. now.
can someone please put this woman on Broadway. Waitress? Molly Brown? Is there anything she CAN'T do?
My Fair Lady!
She was in Chicago! I agree, she could be Jenna in Waitress!

Lauren Ambrose's Eliza was perfect, but go off.

Dang.
If you like this song listen to Jessica Vosk’s version 😍
double like
Actually clicked on this because I thought it was Jennifer Lawrence
Magnificent. It's a great melody but sadly the lyrics are just too reptitive.
